Watching that show on EPIX they had a little bit with McNabb off ice. The kid definitely has a frame where he can add another 15-20 lbs.

Yeah he's still a little lanky. Scary considering how he already absolutely demolishes people.

He also looks like a skinny Blake griffin

King is the perfect third line LW. You want your bottom six to be able to effectively fill in in the top six when there are injuries and DK74 has always done that.

Thankfully he's still a youngster. Lots of size and reach in this org. And he is good with the puck. If he can develop defensively and PK like Mitchell he will be a real gem. Almost sure fire #4 guy. Don't think he has the foot speed or agility for the top pairing.

He needs a mentor. Maybe Mitchell will be a defensive coach when he retires. Wouldn't mind bringing him back in a leadership role.

Anaslime is losing 4-1 to TB.
Minny/Calg tied. NO Shootout points ********.

And in other news, Vanilla Ice was arrested for burglary.

Well, he thought last year wasn't a fluke.

Good luck with that!

Stoll is a massive black hole offensively but he does provide the bottom six with strong defensive play and physicality, if they made the move you proposed they gain a tiny amount of offense but lose a good defensive player at the expense of a terrible one.

Stoll's line has been doing a quality job in checking one of the other teams scoring lines. Do you honestly want that on MR?

Stoll will be centering the Kings' 4th line next season at a reduced price. Richards will be playing for another team. That's what I would do if I was Dean. I think Stoll is the ultimate warrior in the summer program, and is a great teammate. If he is willing to take a little less money, Stoll will be here next season.

Mitchell didn't become a highly regarded dman until his mid-late 20s. He then reached another level when he got into his early-mid 30s. He grew as a player, and he was originally an 8th round selection who benefited from the expansion and having a coach like Jacques Lemaire to guide him.

I don't know if McNabb will be as good as Mitchell ever was, but I think he can grow into a bigger role if he improves on a few aspects of his game.

Agreed. I don't see MR getting moved until the summer though.

Stoll is just there, I wouldn't even call him a good defensive center.

Well kind of like how good defensive defenseman are doing their job when not noticed I kind of feel that way with Stoll. He is obviously a joke offensively but he has played well defensively and added the physical play.

Id honestly take MR over JS on the 3rd line right now. I love the Kings, I love the guys who've been here, but Im not one who wants to hold onto them forever. MR likely should have been bought out, but he wasnt. At this point, MR offers far more then Stoll. Read the GDT, Im not the only one who thinks that Stoll has been less then stellar recently, often taking bad penalties. Im sure he'll come around, atleast I sure hope he does.

Jesus Gibson is getting nailed to the cross again tonight. Even scored a goal on himself. LOL!!!

Mitchell has very good hockey IQ, his reads are pretty top notch.

Unfortunate you can't coach hockey IQ, players either have it or they don't.

McNabb doesn't posses high hockey IQ, it's not bad, but it's not good either.

If he has the right support, I can see McNabb sticking around through most of his career.

Sorry, Richards isn't even close to being the player that Stoll is in terms of physical play and as a checking center. The Kings are going to keep Shore with the big club next season. Carter should never go back to wing. That leaves Richards the odd man out unless he can reinvent himself as a winger.

Ill never forget Sutter's interview last year in the playoffs when they were asking him about Gibson and making him out to be the second coming!! Priceless...

I think he'll be a good goalie eventually

If this strong play keeps up I can see DL overpaying for another puck-moving Dman. You have to strike while the iron is hot.
