There were rumors swirling all year that Blake was going to retire after his contract was up regardless of what happened. I think that’s what happened here, the “mutual” part of the announcement seems like something Luc tacked on to make it seem like he’s doing something.

I’m happy Blake is gone but we won’t see any of the changes we want until Luc is gone too.
That idiot robitaille has never had an original thought in his life.

Mayor is usually reliable. Curious what were the terms for staying...ie..
How tight woukd be the Vise on his genetals
Extremely far from it and heavily the contrary. Better betting on the exact opposite, which with him stating Blake & Luc will stay is one of the few things that gives me hope Luc will soon be booted too.

Bargain Bin was hilarious. Dude literally trotted our David Desharnais as his #1C for several years.

Was insane watching a team of 1x 2nd lines and 3x 3rd lines for his entire duration after inheriting Price and Subban.

Every trade was characterized by:

You'll read all about huge names being moved and signed at TDL and July 1st, while your team acquires Nesterov and Cracknell and Weal.

quackquackquack! indeed!

haven't heard from you guys in almost a decade! Where you been my guy?? Missed you

i'm glad you slowly building your confidence back up
The Ducks have won a playoff series more recently than the Kings despite being out of the playoffs for 7 years my guy.

Also, laugh now cry later. We have an insane young core built (most year 2000 or earlier birthdays in the league) while ya'll have mortgaged your core for mediocrity! Have fun!
