GDT: Looks Like My Luck Is Needed Oilers @ Kraken

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Seattle scored 6X in one period. One goal was called back on an offside. just ftr.

Games like this, its why I have no faith whatsoever in the majority of players on this club. What an embarassment.
In their defense, didn’t they get in at something like four in the morning to Seattle? Pretty much a scheduled loss I think. I’ve only watched about 10 minutes of the game tonight but from what I’ve seen and heard it certainly sounds like they are just mailing it in.

In Walman's defense, he should have had an easy outlet to Klingberg, but for some reason Klingberg was cheating up ice while multiple forecheckers swarmed his partner.

But yeah, not great.
Sure. But his options there are still hold puck, eat puck, or air it out somewhere. he started his adventure by bobbling puck around before firing an assist into the slot. He's a high adventure D. People like his good plays but theres some doozie braincramps too. People note it everytime Booch does it so equal opportunity.

In anycase imagine 80% of your lineup being this. Its an indictment on the entire management here.

heres your Edmonton Connor Browns.

Its not that much of an excuse. Thats Seattle time and its a late start game. Team had d-4 days off just recently.

He had no chance on all but the 5 th one. And even on that, Emberson couldn’t clear the zone and then watched his man score.
Yes, I don't think he's the answer in goal but he has been completely abandoned by the team tonight.

Kraken hanging around the slot completely unmolested. All kinds of defensive mistakes.

No one except J. Skinner has been any kind of offensive threat.

Veteran team with a veteran group of forwards and a veteran group of defensemen, and the Kraken get gifted great look after great look after great look. Goalies suck? Best forwards out? Then lock it down. That’s what a good team would do. Compare and contrast that to whatever the hell is happening right now.

We're still making the playoffs right!? Lol

Not to sound like a pessimist.. buuut, I feel this team isn't making it past the 1st round.

Knob sucks at line combos/accountability.

Picks and Skins suck.

Our management.. is Gross.

Oh yeah. Their fans have said without Broberg and Holloway they would be a lottery team. What a massive f***up. Broberg wanted 1.8M and Holloway 1.5 and these f***ing guys had to cheap out to save a could of hundred grand

All so they could give Josh Brown a million, Klingberg 1.75 and spend another million on Kapanen. Still love the morons who called Klingberg “free.”
