Its a great opportunity with no pressure. It could work, but he has to adjust to the speed of NHL. That's mental part only, as he's great physically with tracking the puck, and he moves fast and accurate physically. He's at least our #2 easy

4th in atoi and 1st in GF% and 4th in xGF%
all his stats are in the positive too so at the very least not bad.

Like I said I literally would have taken Matt Murray (yes THAT Matt Murray, ex-Pittsburgh Penguin). At least his AHL numbers for the Marlies is good and he's played in big games before.

I can get that. My point is he hasn’t been bad, so that’s a positive for this management group. A 1st for an average player that can play and another year left is better than a 2nd for a guy who won’t play a game for you lol

It’s crazy that we were close to Vegas. Now they literally have double our goal differential.
AND we have one of the easiest strength of schedules from the deadline to the end of the season and we will most likely end in a worse spot then we were at the deadline.
