@Sheppy and I will be developing a podcast that is HF-based, where we will bring on a series of regular posters to take points of discussion of the day and discuss them in a format that is certain to get all of you incredibly damp

The initial guest will, of course, be @The don godfather - where we will attempt what no human being has ever attempted before - trying to figure this guy out

Bruins Specific-
-MorningBru

-The Hockey show (they post hour 1 of the show in podcast form before the show even finishes on Saturday mornings. I almost never catch it live and Im sure its tough for those not in the area to hear it live)

-Sportshub Underground (I like Ty Anderson. I know thats not the consesus amongst Bs fans. But I feel his takes are often more original vs the other local media parrots that just repeat everything they read from folks actually in the know. He also does his homework) (Disclaimer: Matt Doloff is a funny guy. Will often come out with lower quality HFboards-like takes, but hes entertaining).

I am looking for some really good podcasts to listen to at work. I am hoping you guys can recommend some that are usually over an hour long to help pass the day.

Thx

I watch three essential (to me) podcasts on YouTube, though I'm sure you can listen to them elsewhere.

New England Hockey Journal editor Evan Marinofsky & Boston Globe/Boston.com sports writer Conor Ryan host both "Bruins Beat" and "Poke the Bear." Various Bruins media figures guest, including a favorite, WEEI's Ty Anderson.

Marinofsky and Ryan are young, knowledgeable, and entertaining in low key fashion. No "Chicklets" foolishness.

Highly, highly recommended,

Joe Haggerty, infamous to some on the board, hosts "Pucks With Haggs."

He certainly doesn't lack for ego, but he too knows the game, and is articulate in his analysis and opinions.

Frequent guests include the encyclopedic and verbose Mick Colageo, Steve Conroy (Boston Herald) and Mark Divver (late of the Providence Journal and contributor to NEHJ and NHL.com.)

All three are seasoned, wizened cranks who know what they're talking about, and know the Boston Bruins.

Inside out,

Happy listening,

:wedgie:
