Great game, Knights had jump from start to finish (minus a 5 minute stretch in the 2nd period).


Definitely deserved that win. SIM and Julien really came through tonight!

Hard to be excited for the final when the attempt at rigging is so obvious. I’ve definitely outgrown spectator sports. Hopefully the weather improves. Have a safe summer all.

The Knights are heading to the cup final with a 5-2 win over Moncton

Austin Elliott has not allowed more than 2 goals a game in 4 tournament games thus far, he just has been awesome for the Knights

Much better team effort over all, they came to this game with a mission and have accomplished it as a team.
As usual, the Knights can not thank the officials for this one either.

Now it is up to Sunday at 7pm for the Big "M" Silver Cup

Great effort...beat a very good Moncton team in convincing fashion.
Hope they keep the lines the same for the final...Cowan/O'Reilly/Barkey give opponents fits.
I think it's fair to say that the two best teams in this tournament will be facing off Sunday night. That's what it's all about...going head-to-head and the best team prevails.
In tonight's must win game, the scoring was distributed evenly (all 3 lines). Sim; Montgomery; Nurmi; Cowan; Barkey. A team effort.
I've been watching the Knights since the early 80's....and in my opinion, Dickinson is the best D-man that's ever worn the green and gold.

Nick Stajduhar was a stud back in the day when I was going in my teens. And Dennis Wideman was fantastic on the back end while the knights were building.

The third period tonight was their best of the tournament. Converted on chances and excellent. Dickinson was a beast tonight. Play like that again Sunday and good things will happen.

Bonk gave me a scare after a cross-check. It really looked like he was trying to put his shoulder back in the joint. He was looked at on the bench for a couple of shifts and then took a regular shift from there on. Hope nothing is wrong but it looked scarey.

I don't think Rimouski was a classic back door team as they did make it to their league finals.

And a few thought it was a waste of an OA spot cause for a short stretch he didn't get points but what was rarely missing was attention to detail, positioning, doing the things away from the puck that win games.
It was honestly tiring ( a sign I'm old n cranky lol) reading he isn't physical enough, doesn't score enough.
I'm not addressing this to you at all as, i have no idea who said what.
Nurmi, Elliot, Dickinson(very odd) Sim, JJ, all took heat during the year on this board along with others.
Posted I loved the staff reuniting Nurmi/Sim/Julien....earlier in POs then had to go away from it but they showed up big tonight.
