There was a replay during the broadcast. Didn't look like much which is why nothing was said. There was no replay and those Tsn clowns didn’t say anything about it
I suspect if Kitchener got nowhere with Halts on Humphreys you have no hope. Probably not worth it.So Does Dale take the Oreilly knee check to the league?
Probably not. Sending videos to the office is a Kitchener Ranger thing. Any time the darlings are touched, actually. So Does Dale take the Oreilly knee check to the league?
The announcers most certainly commented on it. anyways....There was a replay during the broadcast. Didn't look like much which is why nothing was said.
They have actually made a habit of not sending in video. Surprised they actually did for once.Probably not. Sending videos to the office is a Kitchener Ranger thing. Any time the darlings are touched, actually.
You are right, but the Knights still need to wrestle that momentum away from the Generals.Another perspective is that despite throwing everything they had at London and clear non calls (e.g. The pick on Montgomery that lead to a goal) they still did not win that game. that's got to get in their heads. At the same time London knows they almost let that one slip away. Look for them to tighten up big time tomorrow night.
Are you kidding? I know you hate the Knights but that’s just a dumb comment.Hit in shoulder. No head contact
The Gens played a solid 10 minutes out of 60. Not sure that gives them the momentum. Dale started to play his third line a lot in the 3rd leading to some mismatches and resulting goals and they got rolling. Pulling the goalie with 9 minutes left was a desperation move imo and they scored almost before the sixth guy got into the play. I agree with you though that London needs to play hard for 60 minutes. They need to be better on the PP although they only had 2 and looked pretty good on the first one.You are right, but the Knights still need to wrestle that momentum away from the Generals.
The psych is truly in the Knight's heads right now, they are going to need more than Cowan and Halttunen tomorrow night, their PPs has to do much better. They can win, but will need a full team of 20 determined players going hard for the full 60 minutes. We could see early in the third the Knights were starting to struggle and were not in control, Malone could sense it and is the reason he pulled his goalie with more than 9 minutes left!
I disagree. That's okAre you kidding? I know you hate the Knights but that’s just a dumb comment.
It is. Differing opinions are never bad, right, or wrong. They just differ.I disagree. That's ok
Gens are very dangerous. These teams aren’t separated by much, if anything, really. Coaching is very good compred to Laxdal last year. They exposed London’s D a few times with set plays. Both teams have to regroup quickly. I generally like the back-to-back for the team who wins the first night but anything can happen in junior hockey. We’ll see if there are any scratches tomorrow as these guys are getting banged up.The Gens played a solid 10 minutes out of 60. Not sure that gives them the momentum. The Gens are a very good team. London will tighten up their game tomorrow night I think and will hopefully will be disciplined like they were for the most part tonight.
To be honest, I will be really shocked if London wins tomorrow, even if they are the better team of the two. What this game's third period did is lift Oshawa to a lot closer to London's level. Even though Oshawa is still not as good overall as London is, motivation is just as important as talent is on a team. How many times have we seen a bottom team in standing beating the very top team, this is what we will likely see for tomorrow's game. IMHOThe Gens played a solid 10 minutes out of 60. I’ve never seen a team with more of a killer instinct than this years London Knights. Such a good, deep team that is coached as good as any hockey team in any league. Haltunnen and Cowan with career best performances tonight, they were absolutely cooking in the first two periods. I’m just saying that oshawa is a much more improved and prepared team this year than they were last, and a lot of casuals were introduced to them in their worst moments. Good on London being up 2-1 right now, they deserve it. Hopefully tomorrow is another entertaining game. Good luck but Go gens.We get it Oshawa is better. You guys happy? The series is 1-0. London is on a bad path currently.
You need to rewatch that hit....clean shot to the head.Hit in shoulder. No head contact
That's the problem with Cowan. He may have multi-point games but is a defensive liability and has numerous giveaways a game.I decided to rewatch the game. My impression of the game was when we controlled defensively we created offensively. Our most annoying habit was the lack of effort making sure the puck got cleared out of our end. A lot of lackluster efforts that were kept in at the blueline over and over again. I think Cowan gave it up 5 times just himself. We need to clean that up.
He has 35 points in 15 playoff games and is +22. The puck seems to go in the opposition net because of him a whole lot more than the Knights net. That's the problem with Cowan. He may have multi-point games but is a defensive liability and has numerous giveaways a game.
Yeah. Very correctable errors. Happens at this level but good thing with Dale - it usually doesn’t become a pattern.I decided to rewatch the game. I agree. I actually think Cowan is a good defensively. Also think of what he contributes on the PK. He’s a PK merchant and one of the best PK guys I’ve seen at this level. I am impressed at how he has stepped up amongst all the stars in this series. He has 35 points in 15 playoff games and is +22.
