Cowan scores....don't get to excited....there's still 55 seconds left.
This is getting exciting
1 goal game, 6 miles to go.
Should be fun.
Need a quick counter, turn n go or odd man break while they push here.
The non calls are hard to believeIf london gets called for anything I'll lose my shit as Oshawa is getting away with everything right now
Former Kitchener Ranger. ‘Nuff said.OMG. Does Frankie Corrado not know there are two teams playing this game. He is a running cheerleader for the Generals.
Another perspective is that despite throwing everything they had at London and clear non calls (e.g. The pick on Montgomery that lead to a goal) they still did not win that game. that's got to get in their heads. At the same time London knows they almost let that one slip away. Look for them to tighten up big time tomorrow night.London takes a 2-1 series lead with a 7-5 win
Terrible lead-sitting third period by the Knights, a huge mistake when the intensity is not fully there. Got to play hard for the full 60-minute game.
What this come back did, is, setting Oshawa up for tomorrow night's game with all kinds of momentum and confidence. This is also why I worried about their poor power play performances earlier.
A win is a win, but what a mistake this third period was, it is not going to be easy tomorrow or the remainder of this series. Got to go hard to the very last second, to win but most importantly to also keep the momentum, they've lost that now, it is not looking very good for tomorrow.
yes he didLK just has to play the same way tomorrow.
Lengthening the bench, couple bounces, Shwa, pushing hard lead to a tough 10 min but the team played well on the whole. SHI.....happens. can't expect to roll everyone, every period.
Did a good job of turning the other cheek with alot of stick work against. Did Griffith get Nichol in the junk, high slot in the 3rd? ( I didn't bother rewinding.
It's hard to understand the non call on cross check to Sim ( probably his reputation), no call on a clear check to the head on Montgomery, reducing the 5 to 2 on O'Reilly, non call on the blatant pick on Montgomery leading to a goal near the end. No wonder many Knights fans feel there is an agenda here. Anyway, it was ugly but it was a win. I look for a much tighter game tomorrow night.Learned a good lesson without it being fatal. Never let up against a good team. The only thing better than a 5-1 lead is a 6-1 lead. And to a man their puck clearing in the defensive zone in the third period was the worst I have seen this year. That has to be cleaned up. The positive is they scored 7 against a good team in their barn. It has been an interesting series with some questionable officiating.
Yeah like did anyone see Cowan get hit late in the third ? Looked like he was going down in centre ice and somebody cross checked him but they never showed a replay or said anythingThe non calls are hard to believe
This series would be 3-0 and all but over if not for all the help Oshawa has been getting from the stripes. I call it like I see it. London has certainly had times where they’ve benefited from calls in the past. Hasn’t been the case the last few years. I don’t know what the agenda is but it was clear Saginaw could do no wrong last year and same with Oshawa this year. Play through it I guess. But as a spectator, I have zero interest in ever buying a season ticket again or making the trek to different rinks in the O to watch prospects. Crawford should be completely embarrassed. And why won’t TSN ask him about the NCAA raid on the CHL’s talent? Just softball questions last game by Gens fan Findlay and former Ranger Corrado. Rant over. I look for a much tighter game tomorrow night.
Got punched in the face by Gibson as he was on his knees.Yeah like did anyone see Cowan get hit late in the third ? Looked like he was going down in centre ice and somebody cross checked him but they never showed a replay or said anything
Hit in shoulder. No head contactLeft knee on upper left thigh, 2-minute is the right call, as Luca Romano did with Kitchener, Sam O'Reilly will be back in the second. If anything, the hit on Montgomery's head was more worthy of a 5-minute, and also the Sennecke's cross-check on Sim should have been called, it was a late hit. IMHO
Junior hockeyWell that got interesting real fast.
Oshawa kept fighting. London took their foot off the pedal a little.
Take the road win however you can get it I guess. Big win to regain home ice advantage.
clear hit to the head. Look againHit in shoulder. No head contact
