Some dumb penalties, but also some brutal, brutal calls..never thought I'd say it but London got shafted by the stripes tonight.

Yikes. That is a big win for Oshawa. The story of the game is the Knights spent half of it in the penalty box. Also, their big guns looked better than ours in that game. Need Cowan and O’Reilly to step up and score goals.

Also gens fans can't complain about refs when they literally benefitted from sooo many non calls. Not the reason they lost because they could've played better, but the refs played a huge part for sure

The refs went into this game wanting to make sure it was not lopsided like game 1 last year. Their performance was a total joke and made a mockery out of the game. The penalty on Cowan was a joke. It’s like the league has a plan to keep the series close.And I’m sure they do. Put this game away and run them out of the building next game.

Yep. Sim, and Wooley x 2. Everything else was called in by Papa H. I hope those 2 clown refs are forced to watch all of their f-ups repeatedly.

Stay outta the box!! General's goalie was sharper tonight also. I am a Spitfire fan cheering London!! Not many of us around lol. Keep the OHL Championship in the Western Conference!! Shake off this rare home loss and go kick the Gen's butts!!

God, another Ranger fan that thinks all the penalties were deserved, only the Knights embellished, Cowan threw himself onto Oster, yadda yadda.

WTH was Elliott doing on the 2nd goal ? Brutal.

Knights will need better from him. Oshawa is no joke… won’t get away with all the soft ones like he did in earlier series.

Overall the Knights did look pretty good at even strength. Difference was goaltending and penalties of course.

If this is the league's best, then they have a lot to do in their referee development department. To be honest, in my 71 years of hockey life, this is right up there with the worst of the worsts

London did not play a good hockey game, some calls shouldn't have been made, with this said London were also very undisciplined. As in that Niagara loss this pass season, once London is thrown off their game, they will lose.

This does not go without saying, that Oshawa did not play a discipline game either, but were spared most of their calls against and reviews

As I mentioned in an earlier post today, if they play discipline and keep their cool, Oshawa would have been going to the sin box alone. However, with this kind of referring, it wouldn't have made any difference.

I can not in all honesty congratulate the Generals for their embarrassing win tonight, unfortunately they were unfairly assisted in this game. It is an embarrassment to the league and to TSN who had to present their product on national TV

-refs were awful

I rarely complain about the referees, and the Knights didn't lose tonight because of them ( I'd point to two missed breakaways and a missed penalty shot, among other missed opportunities) HOWEVER, that was THE worst officiating I've seen in the finals since Downie sticked Martinelli in the junk in Peterborough in 2006.

Can we finally put to bed the whole "The Knights have the refs in their pockets" narrative?
