The game is sold out anyway so the day of week is probably less important from that perspective.TSN must have other things broadcasting on Friday. No way Knights would miss a Friday night if they had their say.

What makes you think Barkey will be back for game 1?What’s the situation with the watch party for the away games?
I think Barkey will be back for game 1
LDN Do you have a reason for thinking this ?What’s the situation with the watch party for the away games?

Hunters comments in the LFP. Just a hunch, plus he wasn’t looking bad in the handshake line in Kitchener.LDN Do you have a reason for thinking this ?
? Not trying to be a smartass here just curious
He was looking solid enough in Kitchener. Add the time off to rehab. I’d guess he’s backWhat makes you think Barkey will be back for game 1?
Call me crazy....I kinda like credible sources. He was looking solid enough in Kitchener. Add the time off to rehab. I’d guess he’s back
lol yeah me too!Call me crazy....I kinda like credible sources.
I know one guy here who doesn't like network TVValid but it's treated like a big showcase of the future. I'd rather it be on network TV over the CHL app.
Fair. I was pretty vague. Anyways we all know that Barkey is an absolute warrior and will do all he can to play this ThursdayBut LDN didn't explain that....I was responding to his blanket statement.
If that’s the way SJS are thinking, then that’s a loser way of thinking. If Dickinson needs patience to develop, then you give him that time at this level. So with the Islanders winning the draft lottery, this is the last we will see of Sam Dickinson. I thought if the Sharks won, then they would chose Matthew Schaefer and he would instantly become their top D man in their system.
Thus give patience to Sam Dickinson because too many rookies on a team can get messy. But he’s gone, unless the Islanders pull the New York kid in James Hagens 1st.
I assure you, getting Schaefer or not will not affect how the Sharks handle Dickinson. So with the Islanders winning the draft lottery, this is the last we will see of Sam Dickinson. I'll save everyone the time... as usual Pyette says nothing![]()
OHL finals: Is London Knights captain Denver Barkey able to play?
“You never really want to sit in the stands and watch a game.”lfpress.com
hes as good as goneI assure you, getting Schaefer or not will not affect how the Sharks handle Dickinson.
I'd say 60/40 he stays with the Sharks. Should definitely get his nine game tryout, and we may keep him even if he's not totally ready, if that's what the team thinks is best for him long-term. But not getting Schaefer won't affect that IMO. It's not like we're trying to make the playoffs next season.hes as good as gone

Certainly one of them. I also lean towards keeping Sam in SJ simply because I think he needs a new challenge to force him to confront the things he needs to work on. But there may be value in sending him back to carry a likely less good London team next year if we're being honest and really work on the details of his game.i dont have any clue what he would do in the ohl. hes the best player in the league imo.
There is a likely chance Londoners will see Dickinson back in London next season, and it will not for him lacking offensive skill. If he is returned and London is not a go team, he would be an awesome ticket on the trading market for the KnightsCertainly one of them. I just don't understand the "want" for a kid to return and how some feel they can't work on their game at the pro level (either AHL/NHL depending on eligibility) when they clearly have access to so many higher end resources. Just fans being fans I guess.
"Needs to work on skating, DZone coverage.....whatever" and it's many teams fans. They can do that up a level also? and JMO, but being challenged n access to better, more resources instead of just dominating kids younger than you may just work out. Sometimes ya just outgrow your current situation. ( and yes some kids do need the extra year, just not always a D+2 that dominated)
