yes, and the announcers barely know who's playingUgh....so many TV timeouts.
Bring in the guys from Owen sound.yes, and the announcers barely know who's playing
no need to .. we have the best in the league already .. i say this because rick & greg know hockey .. they are not homers .. and they call it as it is .. they even offer tactictal solutions to other teams on how to beat the knights systems .. how often have we heard anyone else offer suggestions on how to beat the home team ? .. i've listened to all the announcers in the league for over 25yrs .. and this post is NOT a slight against OS (or Windsor) .. some are clearly better than others, but none approach the professionalism of rick & greg .. based on past comments i expect some blow back on this, but the entire knights organization is run as close as possible to professional standards .. rick, greg & sophie hold the positions that they do *because they are the *best at what they do !!!Bring in the guys from Owen sound.
Ummmm the games are on TSN so Rick and Greg will not be doing them. I was saying that instead of TSN bringing in two guys that likely do not know the OHL very well it would be cool to bring in an impartial group like the crew from Owen Sound to do it.no need to .. we have the best in the league already .. i say this because rick & greg know hockey .. they are not homers .. and they call it as it is .. they even offer tactictal solutions to other teams on how to beat the knights systems .. how often have we heard anyone else offer suggestions on how to beat the home team ? .. i've listened to all the announcers in the league for over 25yrs .. and this post is NOT a slight against OS (or Windsor) .. some are clearly better than others, but none approach the professionalism of rick & greg .. based on past comments i expect some blow back on this, but the entire knights organization is run as close as possible to professional standards .. rick, greg & sophie hold the positions that they do *because they are the *best at what they do !!!
It will probably be the same crew that did last year. They were marginal at best and beat the same stories to death every game. It’s a shame the league took the $$$ and shut out the local broadcasts that are the heart of junior hockey.Ummmm the games are on TSN so Rick and Greg will not be doing them. Found the account for Doyle or Sloans grandkid.no need to .. we have the best in the league already .. i say this because rick & greg know hockey .. they are not homers .. and they call it as it is .. they even offer tactictal solutions to other teams on how to beat the knights systems .. how often have we heard anyone else offer suggestions on how to beat the home team ? .. i've listened to all the announcers in the league for over 25yrs .. and this post is NOT a slight against OS (or Windsor) .. some are clearly better than others, but none approach the professionalism of rick & greg .. based on past comments i expect some blow back on this, but the entire knights organization is run as close as possible to professional standards .. rick, greg & sophie hold the positions that they do *because they are the *best at what they do !!!
But they dont need the OHL to do back to back the QMJHL is in the same timezoneView attachment 1028780
Here is the WHL schedule for reference. If TSN wants back to back games then I can see the OHL doing Friday/Sunday.
If I never hear, "everybody up and in tight " again I could probably die peacefully. What an asinine phrase.Found the account for Doyle or Sloans grandkid.
Most times Sloan has no idea why the whistle blew or what happened during the play. He also messes up players names constantly.
Doyle has a vocabulary of about 10 words and those include campaign, pulls down, etc.
Both say the same things over and over again.
While they are not the worst in the OHL, they are FAR from the best.
Everyone should do themselves a favour and play AM980 on their phone and then pause your TV at puck drop. When Stubbsy says “the puck drops” unpause your TV and you’ll be able to enjoy a real broadcaster while watching the game.
Game one is Thursday
Or "drop the load". Sometimes "drop the payload".If I never hear, "everybody up and in tight " again I could probably die peacefully. What an asinine phrase.
that is probably my least favorite of hisOr "drop the load". Sometimes "drop the payload".![]()

That’s what’s the key. Oshawa has more top end guns. The key is keeping Oshawa off the PP.Oshawa has several legit OHL star players. If we’re being honest London hasn’t even faced a star player in any playoff series yet (except goalies).
Definitely brings a new element. More game planning. Stricter line matching and more important to stay out of the box. Even with Knights top end PK… Oshawa has a PP1 that is more dangerous than anything we’ve seen. Probably not a good idea to flirt with that as much as we did in the first 3 rounds…
I think Oshawa built their team this year with this series in mind. That’s what’s the key. Oshawa has more top end guns. The key is keeping Oshawa off the PP.
Without Barkey, Cowan hasn’t had the same kinda space out there. We need Julien, Halttunen and Montgomery to be stars and make a difference or else we are done….
Elliott will need to up his game and be ready to face 30 shots a game.
With this in mind, I think Oshawa will surprise a lot of Knights fans and wouldn’t be surprised if they win it.
This is correctI think someone mentioned that Barkey came on the ice after game 4 with a crutch but no boot/cast. Is that right?
I noticed the crutch, not his footwear.
