London Knights 2024 - 25 Season Thread, Part VII

FWIW I think Oshawa will win the east and be a huge handful for the Knight. They've been inconsistent during the regular season but have been less so in the playoffs and when they're firing on all cylinders they are a very good team. They could very well beat the Knights this year, and they're motivated after last year.
I agree. Gens scare me

Absolutely agree, it is just what they say when they need to feel good about themselves after a loss. They do have some talented young players I do not think we can deny that, they just seem to be lacking those "playoff" type players. Something that a guy like Misaljevic could add for them, I can only assume that he is hurt?
Kinda shows your navel gazing to just now realise an OA top 6 F who lead the team in points isn't in the lineup, no?

Truth be told the Knights shouldn't have to worry about anyone in the O en route to another 'ship, so I don't blame you for just now bringing this up.

Yes, Miseljevic was injured in period 1 game 5 against Flint when he went into the boards hard and awkwardly (no foul play). From what I've heard I don't expect him back regardless how long Kitchener's season were to go.

Keep on with your "Rangers are soft" narrative Otto, we may be seeing history with the first time you were wrong in your life.
This is funny... your board was screaming the same thing during the first three games of the Windsor series.

Regardless, my comment had nothing to do with the Rags being soft. It was directed at your fans calling MacNiel a 16 year old when he's actually almost 18.

I have known he was not in the lineup for the whole Windsor series ( watched a lot of it on CHL TV ) and these two games. Strangely enough i never thought to look up why BECAUSE I DONT REALLY CARE. But thanks for confirming.

They were probably going by the fake I.D. he carries so he can get into Adult Establishments.

Your a Math guy yes 50% chance same chance Owen Sound had against us in 7 game series. My number 2% chance. The point i was making with Barkey out odds are way down on winning Mem Cup...although reports have Barkey not as bad as first thought.
I knew what was your point and clearly understood it too. Other than, it is above the rule of average that they would win based on talent and success of the team. Mine is, if you start thinking that way, your risk to see the point of average diminishing if the other team has any kind of success, ask Windsor they had the control, and so will the confidence or over-confidence, I say.

“Denver Barkey out for LDN
-day-to-day (lower body)
-Knights Assistant Coach Dylan Hunter described it as, “not as bad as we thought.”

Question is, are they lying?? They said day-to-day with Brett Brochu too at first. Or was it week to week?

Anyways, they sometimes like to say it’s not that bad to not let other teams think they now have an advantage.

So is it actually day to day or is it done for the season but they are just saying day to day?
They’d never say the injury to the media anyways. Media doesn’t need to know. If the media knows then so do the other teams.

Probably out for playoffs and will rest up for Mem cup

I am so done with the "rebuilding" Rangers narrative that gets thrown around every time they lose. They were a 100 point team in the OHL and had high hopes going into the playoffs. When they went down 3-0 the Rangers board kept using the "rebuilding" exuse, all of the sudden the series is 3-3 and the talk goes to how good the team is again. It just seems that it is way to convienent to constantly lean back on that excuse.
As a neutral fan I noticed this too lol.

And deny the obvious that Windsor was better but had half the team injured. Should be Windsor vs London right now and everybody knows they’d put up more of a fight.

Gee that’s funny. After every loss, Jussi says, “We weren’t good enough. We have to be better”.
And he’s said that London is a good team.

….and, IMO, London is a very good team. But they haven’t been tested yet.

Their opponents in the first two rounds sold off at the deadline.
The Rangers sold early then stood pat.

London won’t get tested by a team geared up to go all in this year, until the final. And both Barrie and Oshawa went all in big time this year.

The Knights may breeze their way to the final, but what’ll be waiting for them in an opponent will be a whole different animal.
I hope it Barrie. If you watched the game in Barrie during the season we were way better faster stronger then they were we blew them out . Oshawa we were all over in London up 4-0. Then Cowan got hit hard . We ended up losing that game . Later in the season Cowboy scored on Oster in ot to win that one. I was most concerned this year about this series weather it was going to be Windsor or Kitchener I think we are showing
We have a good handle on this series, but anything can happen. If we win this series we win the Ohl championship in my humble opinion

Oshawa has a score to settle with London, anything that will build a little psychological edge for them, they will use it. A team with lots of talent is great and always needed, what that team does with it from between the ears is of equal importance, if not more.

Lol announcers talking about how the Rangers are banged up and that the Knights have the same lines playing that they had for the first two games. If your going to make claims do some research.
