London Knights 2024-25 Season Thread, Part VI

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

    Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

yup, they don't track hits/blocks/ice time(for skaters) even though they're available options in the stats API they use.

They do track shot locations though, which you would think is more tedious, so maybe in the future they'll track all the things.

I think they are volunteers but they should still be professional. Those guys are like fans in a bar drinking one beer too many and blaming the officials for every call against their team and every perceived non call against their opponent. Embarrassing but the new norm in today’s world. Why let facts get in the way of rabid opinion.

1000% agree....two hockey uneducated fan boys. Do they have replay. They way they conduct themselves it seems they do not.

He looked really tough shoving Boulton after the game, when Boulton was telling former Knight Johnston good game.
All 4 refs were right there ready to jump in and save him.
 
Saginaw has a great first line (25-77-Epperson, 86?), but lack depth. Their D can be easily exposed. Average goaltending whether it's Oake or Papineau.
I saw the team bus arrive at the rink, and was asked by one of the players: "where's the entrance?"
I said: "Just go in the backdoor".
Laughed my ass off at that rendition of the national anthem...the first anthem sung. This isn't the 80s so I can't comment on that any further.
Waiting on instruction from administrators before I edit the threads.
