Sim & Boulton over the fight limit because of there fights today or was that there 3rd?

Congrats to Dale! Best coach the OHL has seen. Pretty remarkable stuff he does year in & year out 🍻

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if one or both of Windsor and Kitchener lost first round
I do have to give it up for Kitchener Otto, they are a very difficult team to play against. They play it cautious and keep the game as close as possible for as long as possible. Of course they rely heavily on an exceptional goaltender during this wait, wait, wait approach. Then they pounce once their opponent makes a mistake. A large amount of credit has to go to the coaching without a doubt as their Finish coach is accustomed to this style of game. In the West I think there is only one team that beats Kitchener this year. In a seven gamer Mr Hunter out coaches his fellow coach 99.89% of the time! Nothing will change this season we always start a series with the smartest coach behind the bench regardless of who we play. Bring on the playoffs .....

The OHL is not responsible for punishing Cam Allen.
Have been saying this all along. He is a 20 year old man who made a huge mistake .... He got super lucky he didn't kill someone totally innocent or else he would be looking at much deserved jail time. BUT we have a court system which is in place to deal with ALL folks from ALL walks of life when it comes to this still to often occuring driving offence. If you don't like his punishment get in contact with your local MP and drive changes to our court system that allows for more serious penalties. Fortunately the OHL didn't bend and give into the folks with hidden agenda's.

Both of them are at the limit, so both will likely be suspended.

Boulton fight, was a borderline instigator. Sim was a clear instigator not called, really sucks to lose him for 2 games.

Sim has 4 not instigated upon fights:
Kingston - Bishop - 3/7
Kingston - Uens - 11/29
Sarnia - Luecke - 10/27
Saginaw - Sima - 10/26

Boulton has 5 not instigated upon fights:
Sudbury - Street - 01/19
Sarnia - Moses - 12/31
Kitchener - Hlcar - 12/15
Barrie - Dubowsky - 10/11
Owen Sound - Smith - 10/09

I do wonder though, if there is a league process for teams to appeal fights, they believe should have been called instigated. Which would make sense, given the suspension threshold and if a team has a legit argument, it would work just like the appeal of any other suspension.

Clearly in last night's game Sim was instigated upon. Bishop has the gloves off before Sim could really even react.

Kitchener will most likely be playing Flint, and while the Rags won the season series, all four games were 1 goal games, with Flint winning in OT and Kitchener winning 2 in a shootout. Firebirds will not be easy

Can the Knights send video as Sim was clearly instigated on. I saw Julien ask the referee about it.
Earlier in the game I also saw Julien speaking with the referee about a slewfoot on a Knight entering the Kingston zone. I thought it was a slewfoot as I saw it happening too. Not called.
