Can anyone shed light on that new goal celebration that some players do where they swing their elbows out slowly as they skate towards the bench? What is that?
"Elbows up" response to tariffs?

“Elbows up!” has become a war cry of the Canadian resistance to U.S. President Donald Trump’s sweeping import tariffs and has found its way to T-shirts and social media feeds alike.

Nah, I don't think it's political... it's something they're having fun with...I just don't get the joke.

It’s been a while since I could come up for air, sorry I have not done the analytics vs 2005 like i intended from the holidays.

What I can say is this in that stratosphere of ridiculous. If there was no NHL camps in 05 it would be neck and neck. The fascinating thing with this team, no massive point totals from any one player. Such a well balanced team effort.

I love @OMG67s assessment of Elliot…. How is the crow pie?

And to those Julien haters, well you know now you were wrong.

Cowan and Barkey both having the injury/illness bug but now are taking this team vertical.

It took absolutely so long for everything to gel, now just before playoffs we are seeing what their full capability is. They will destroy teams completely.

The benefit of having to rely on the 3/4 lines and rookies at times, we have seen a premature jump in their development. Just solid, no passengers.

Thank F$$$ we kept Hawery, what a beauty. Set up for years.

I look forward to seeing Allen back very soon!

Go Knights Go!!!!

What’s everyone’s thoughts on a potential Saginaw and London Matchup in the second round?

Not sure we will be able to contain Misa, Parekh and Chernyshov. Not to mention some nice complimentary players in Epperson, and Harmer.

Let’s hope that the Knights are ready to go and the Knights are ready to up their game

Mr. Hunter will figure out how to shut them down

It's asking for a punch to the chicklets....lol
No idea here, not a fan of it, but I'm older :)
I'd guess it's a response to something another team said, or they rallied around that someone saw a book of faces, twitlicks, Xinator, instawannnabe post on social media and their having fun with it

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if one or both of Windsor and Kitchener lost first round

Sounds like Allen will be back in 6 games. Seems fair IMHO.
Kid made a BIG mistake and sounds like he owned up to it and pleaded guilty. Now place judgement on what he does after that. We all deserve a second chance if our mistake wasn’t fatal. I don’t condone impaired driving EVER but I do condone letting a person make up for their mistakes. People who live in glass houses………..

Saginaw has had zero playoff success against London. Even with last year’s one sided officiating and suspension rulings, they lost in 6. Only beat London by one goal in a one gamer that of course saw 0 penalties called against the Spirit, despite the headhunting against Julien (replay is online) that Sim got 5 and a game for, earlier. As for this year, Saginaw is weaker than last but the OHL will want to market the crap out of Misa and Parekh (especially Parekh) so anything is possible.

The people who want Allen banished for life would have a different opinion if he weren’t a London Knight. Fact.

Yes. A fact. Haters hate. Look at what is happening in our world today. Don’t drink the Kool Aid of hate and close mindness. Be better. Be much better. Not one of are perfect. Mistakes happen. How we respond to them define who we are. I’ve made mistakes. Have you?

Pound Parekh every time he touches the puck. Make his life hell and he will fold....or dive.

This person was without reason reckless showing no regard for his or other’s lives. Maybe offer addiction as an explanation for impaired decision making, and enter a 3-4-6 month rehab program before applying for reinstatement.
The league has banned ‘bullies’. I could not agree with admission of making a mistake in this case as good enough for the OHL.

Allen can come back on March 16th when the Knights play the Spits.

Perhaps he can play in the final 4 games to warm up again for the playoffs.

Glad that this has been sorted out. I’m guessing he will be back next season, but not 100% sure as he is already signed by the Caps.

Playing Saginaw in the second round does scare me a little bit, since they have the officiating crew in there back pockets and their ability to score goals. With that being said they are god awful defensively, have a below average goalie and are mentally and phyiscally weak. Should be easy to break them down in a 7 gamer unless the miraculously show us they have developed some balls.

Not to mention the season series between Saginaw and Erie is 2-2 so Erie could win just as much as Saginaw. Schaeffer is due back later in March just in time for the playoffs, and hearing mixed reviews on when Terrance will be back. If Erliden plays his best I can certainly see Erie beating Saginaw as Erie plays a similar style to London which Saginaw will not like.

Gotta love the comment section on X.
" London knights bias, should be suspended for the year!"
A player from the Q only got 5 games for a dui. Yes different circumstances, but point remains the same

The only explanation to receive this type of leniency would be he sought help prior to the incident, or no serious injury so no serious penalty.
He would have reviewed team/league code of conduct, and alcohol & drug policies four times for Guelph, a couple for Washington, once for London

Yeah, not a Knights fan, and there was no "leniency." I say that not because I think the punishment fits the crime, but because this is the CHL.... come on now, this probably happens all the time - it just matters to the league when they get caught, and only to the point of appearances. If he hadn't crashed the car or anyone/thing else, he'd be suiting up tonight even if the team knew.

And call me a cynic, but any mandated therapy is all for show also. It makes the league look like they care about the mental health of players, and Allen will jump through the hoops to get back on the ice.
