Anyone know what % of Windsor scoring is done by their top 2 guys ? I suspect that its quite high, but I'm too lazy to calculate it.
If my assumption is accurate, then the key to beating the Spits is simply to shut down those 2, and let our depth players outperform theirs. There's plenty of of scoring potential from among the Knights 2nd & 3rd line players, more so than what Windsor has demonstrated, of late.

It'll be interesting to see how our guys perform 5 on 5 as opposed to reliance on special teams.
Stay out of the box, initiate, but don't retaliate. It's usually the retaliation penalties that get called, especially in goalmouth scrums. When Sim plays disciplined, he does get under opponents' skins, and draws penalties.
31.7% of Windsor goals from two players (Greentree and Protas).

So are u upset Nelli made a comment about Bruzs game and there was no "outcry of horror so maybe it's selective protectionism" lol........maybe, just maybe, it's people just didn't disagree with that take like they did with yours about JJ?.So ever1 should agree with you or it's selective protection?

No biggie, your not a JJ fan and expect more. TY for the details......doesn't hustle enough, not enough goals for you, not physical enough and carries a stick up in scrums........gotcha. Doesn't move feet fast enough for ya and isn't a tough guy, basically.
It's ok, your not a fan of the player. Some people don't agree with your take. It's ok. We obviously watch the game thru different lenses cause I see lots of positives to his game, no worries. And I never expected more than what wr are getting this year. His overall value has increased with the role he has been given this year.
And he is a more valuable OA than 1/2 the OAs LK has had in their OHL Championship years.
I hoped he developed into a solid 3rd line F and he has. Esp based on his path to where he is now.
The Nelli / Bruz comment was direct at FP not you lol. If I make a “negative comment” about a player, FP loses his mind. Nelli does about Bruz and well….get it?
And yes, you view JJ’s fringe contributions as important and I view him being a goal scorer and lack thereof as the main reason he has had a down year. Is he valuable? YES (for all those in the back). Could we have had a better OA this year, yes absolutely. And it’s fine he isn’t a tough guy, I never asked him to be. But whenever things get physical he’s the first to slash a guy in retaliation.
Go Knights go! (For the happy clappers) 😊

Trivia help! In the past quarter century the Knights had a forward and converted him to defence….was it MacKinnon? And has there been anyone else?
Out of curiosity if there was a need due to injuries, who (if any) do you think on this forward core would you put on defence?

It would most certainly be Sam O'Reilly as he has actually played defence most of his hockey life. He may have even been drafted as a defenceman if memory serves me!

Without doing any research off the top of my head I am going to say it may has been Trevor Kell..

I certainly remember some guys getting some spotty play on defence in emergencies but no more than a few periods of games.

Drake Rymsha, Owen MacDonald, Sam Militec, Billy Moskal, Brett Welychka...

it’s clearly Jj 13

The Knights have been horrible all season not connecting on passes out of the zone and creating turnovers for the other team and odd man rushes. I’m tired of them thinking they can just coast until playoffs and just turn it on come playoffs.

And guess he is the man who leads in that matter? Sam Dickinson.
