I’d love to see a Kitchener London seven game series with both teams starting on an even playing field. But we’re not gonna get that this postseason.

I assume London will finish first overall which means the road to the third round and a meeting with London goes through Windsor. I expect a hard fought six or seven game series between Kitchener and Windsor with the battered winner having to go up against a well rested London team who will probably breeze through the first two rounds in eight or nine games.

But that’s what happens when you earn the top seed in the conference.

I am looking forward to my trip down to North Bay for tonight's game and into Sudbury tomorrow, leaving my home in about an hour's time. This will be my initial encounter with the Knights live this year, as I live approximately two hours and forty minutes north of North Bay, located two kilometers inside the Quebec Province. Last September, while visiting my kids and grandkids in London and the area, I saw one pre-season game against Sarnia. I am also trying to get to the Soo if all goes well with the plan. At my home, I have multiple screens(4) to watch many games at once, but nothing beats live action. I am hoping for better efforts in their northern trip, than their last game in Kitchener and last year in Sudbury.

Memorial Gardens is pretty open when it comes to access to players. I don't think I'll have a problem just standing near the bench during warm-up and getting some signatures. Even before they go on the ice before warm-up.
