I knows this means nothing but the Rags announcers post game saying Sim got his shiner from his fight with Mercer. I think they are watching a different game...the guy did not land one punch. He was sporting that thing at puck drop.
Shiner was there pre game

Agreed. Perhaps a new strategy should be developed for the PP. it’s moderately predictable
No, just a rough game n kudos to KTown. The PP has a numerous options and they will adjust ( notice the lack of feeding 12 in Ovis office lately? Purposely done? Options are great and they are looking at all them ) They have good movement usually and 4 great options on unit 1. One game shouldn't send alarm bells.

For me that first KTown PK kill set a great tone for them.
It was aggressive, didn't give LK entry or a chance to set up n sent a message. Kudos n props to the Rangers. Well earned.
Puck seemed to be bouncing alot n sometimes it goes your way sometimes it hurts ya. Full marks Kitchener.

He must have landed one on himself then, because there were 28 punches thrown in that fight and he threw them all haha. (I didn’t actually count, just picked a number for dramatic effect)

And yes, it was 100% there pre game. Must have been from his fight Sunday.

That impactfulness tonight should get him a suspension. Puck long gone into D zone and he blindsides to the head. Try to impact the game, great. Try to take someone out…cheap.
Not too sure this was a headshot, it definitely was a blind hit as Sim came from behind and hit him on the back of the left shoulder and arm. I'd like to see a replay of it, it didn't appear to be near the head, if it was to the head, than ya, he should be suspended

Knights dominated in every aspect of the game tonight. Intensity. Fore check. Back check. Goal tending. Special teams. Finish on scoring chances. Defensive coverage. A game tape that needs to be watched by the players to show what other teams can and will do to them for the rest of the year. Sometimes a loss can be a good thing and this game was one of those times.

Edit. I meant Kitchener dominated.

I'll give you the blindside but the puck was swatted away from the players feet and right right when impact was made. Just rewatched it. And he did not make contact with the head from the replay they showed...it was his shoulder.

For some reason I cannot attach video of it.

Tough to give up a late goal in the 2nd…Dickinson struggling a bit with turnovers. Montgomery has been excellent.
3 handled the puck like a hand grenade tonight. 90 was Knights best player, hit everything that moved and didn’t take any shifts off. (Ahem 13…)
Pridham needs to be treated like Haltunnen in a sense that you cannot let him shoot when on the PP. Great shot, the kid just finds the back of the net.

It wasn't wrong to blast Hockey Canada. Player utilization was horrible, not just the two Flyers prospects. Coaching/management is the reason that team didn't even play for a medal.

The 2005 born are far from being among the best Canada has produced. The WJC is not going to be won by a team loaded with 17-18 yr olds often.

It doesn't matter, whether Team Canada miss utilized their players, of which I do agree as well. His criticism was for his own concern of his players, and not for all Team Canada players. He wasn't speaking for Team Canada, he was speaking for only his players

Which I found odd. In one sentence he says Luchanko was under utilized; then in a following sentence, he seems to criticize the coaching staff for having too much faith in Bonk’s abilities.

With regard to puck handling, we may have one of the best organizations in the O, but we are in the bottom when it comes to ice.

Sure, but the whole management and coaching was f***ed. I think majority of hockey fans can see this organization is messed up and needs some major overhaul

Ice?

Every time Canada does not win a Hockey Canada over haul is required.
It was fine a few weeks earlier when the ‘07 born plus late birth ‘06s dominated the USNTDP plus additions.
I think we should just accept that the Canada 2004-05 classes are no where near as good as the 2002-03 and 2006-07x

Kitchener treated this game seriously, earned the W and humbled the Knights.

1 game, no big deal. On to the next one. Props to Kitchener for being prepared and playing a tough game.

I will give the Knights a pass on this one, can't win them all and showing up to the game late really messes with pregame activities. Hockey players are a creature of habit, so messing that up has a mental effect. Chalk one up for Kitchener in this one and move on and come out prepared for the east swing this weekend.
