Go for it Mark. Lets not waste this core.

I see a drop off next year but a resurgance the year after. One thing is for sure, barring injury we are set in goal for next few years.

Very happy with our effort this past weekend. 4 points was good result. Enjoyed the game Sat. night in Windsor had seats behind the knights bench which gave a very different perspective than my season seats (upper deck). Having Barkey back on Sunday helped.
Wfcu centre is a great place to watch a game. Excellent sight lines. In game presentation certainly blows London out of the water. Upper deck in London is good too for visibility.

Next year is still looking good, not anywhere close to this year but we would still be in the mix to go for it with a few additions.

we only lose Bonk on D, forwards are thinned out but still lots of returnees to be competitive:

O'Reilly Nichol Van Gorp

Van Bommel Read Hawery

Aboflan Bidgood Boulton

Import import

Yes we will need to find a few all stars but we have a very good team next year. Defensively really solid.

Brzustewicz Dickinson

Fimis Woolley

Fagan Jenkin

Mitchell

We still likely have 9 NHL drafted players
Take Dickinson off as I think he could make the NHL. That’s our defensive core…

Who are the 9 drafted players by next year in that lineup?

Last year with this AMAZING core of Bonk, Barkey, Cowan and Dickinson. Need to finish the job this year. Load up!

Who are the 9 drafted players?
O’Reilly, Nicholl, Brzustewicz, Medvedev…. Who else?

With all that extra playing time Jenken and Spencer are improving. Fimis was nice pickup but has not shown me that he is top 4 Dman. He might yet.

This is great! Hopefully he can hit the 1000 this year!

I agree he doesn’t look better than Brzustewicz or Woolley. Btw Wool looks awesome! Like the use of his size and skating

I would be willing to part with Hawery but I also want Jaxon Cover and Logan Hawery to be our next wave of stars.

Let’s also be real, even in wishful thinking and we got Luchanko, there is no way to compete next season.

We would be deep enough forward-wise, but our defense would be Woolley and Brz. Unless Mark Hunter brings in another D via USA.

So that’s why I consider that we hold onto Hawery.
0% chance Hawery is going anywhere.
