Didn't it occur to anyone that Sim actually said to Brady Martin..."Hey Brady, you're losing to "men and Knights"?
I want the league to issue an apology to Sim.
Do I need to add an emoji? Probably regret not doing so.

I'd like to see Caleb Mitchell dress for the Petes game...it would be great to see him play in front of friends and family, and he's already much better than Fagan.

Agreed about Mitchell. Maybe the Knights go 11/7 against the Pete’s?

Knights are on a 15 game win streak and fans are hoping to make a trade to bring in a big D.

Our team is fine as is. Yes, Mark will make smaller trades to give young F opportunities elsewhere. He will stock the draft cupboard to make trades next year when there are a lot of graduating players.

Don't fix what isn't broken.
It’s broken in the long run. Running out 4 maybe 5 D every night is not sustainable in the long run. And when I say 5 I count Jenken, as Fagan and Spencer are not OHL calibre. Pushing Wooley or Bruz down to the 3rd pairing with Jenken would allow them to get some decent ice time while solidifying your top 4. Remember this years top 4 is nowhere west as good as last years, and they burnt out. Dickinson’s huge improvement from last year has covered a few warts back there on D. Knights need a 19year old rugged Dman. Just because they’re on a 15 game win streak, it took them shootouts to beat Owen Sound and Ottawa….also, it’s about loading up for the memorial cup. The team won’t outright say it, but after last year, anything less will be not enough.

Well said. 100% agree.

Isaiah George played 19.29 mins tonight and had 1 assist and +1 for Islanders in a 6-3 loss to Bruins.
Way to represent the green and gold IG !!!
So is there any more news on Jackson Edward’s Any chance he gets sent back ? And what about Jett L from Guelph coming to London? Just wondering if anybody has heard anything on these players as they were mentioned here before

Got an honest question for Knights fans on here. The OHL has been taking their time when it comes to deciding what Sawyer Boulton's latest punishment is going to be. I know Parekh isn't exactly a favourite of some, but taking your stick and swinging it like an axe isn't the greatest "look" in any instance; his previous "rap sheet" isn't going to help his case much either.

Could the OHL be deciding whether *this* time is "enough", and throw the book at him? My best guess, I think he's looking at a double digits long suspension - at least ten games, maybe more.

Parekh knows about using his stick as a weapon as well. Just got a match penalty for cross checking a guy in the head tonight. He also somehow got away with doing it to a SSM player in the playoffs last year.

As for Ryder Boulton I would guess it will be a long suspension.

I don't care if Parekh is seen as a "Superstar" in the OHL - I saw footage of that cross check you're speaking of...he definitely needs to be held accountable for that, but we all know his status as a star is going to largely save him from it.

6:29 of the 3rd in that game it looked like a brawl broke out, judging by the amount of players that were penalized from that time alone...

After reading an article in the LFP, doesn't sound like Cowan will play at all this weekend as he hasn't practiced once this week. Barkey has a chance to play a game or 2 as he was a practice in a no contact sweater

I agree with most of this. People have to remember that Woolley is 18 but really in his first full OHL season with top 4 minutes. Brzustewicz is 17 playing his first full OHL season with top 4 minutes. They need depth. Spencer is the second oldest D on this team and struggles. Edward is not coming back. Fagan looks to have raw ability but needs to learn his position before he can be trusted with any minutes.
I like Jenken and think he’ll grow into a top 6 D.

As for the Memorial Cup (not directed at you), but I’m not sure you can make deals that strongly help your cause at the tournament. Perhaps through the OHL playoffs en route to an OHL championship, but the MC tournament itself is just a tournament that has a lot of luck associated with a one game playoff. I’ve seen too many back-door winners or teams that lost in the round robin only to win the final to say that the expectation on a season is Memorial Cup win or bust (again, not saying you said that).

London has won 5 of the last 18 OHL championships. They’ve been fortunate enough to win 2 Memorial Cups along the way. That’s an insanely good two decades.

If they had a similar season to last year, I would call it an overwhelming success but I understand that fans want to see the last game of the “season” be a win too. I just don’t buy that the Memorial Cup winner is a true CHL champion.

It will be very interesting to see how the league handles the Boulton suspension and now the Parekh suspension.

They don't have a history of consistency. Both players have a history of being reckless with Boulton obviously being worse. The other difference is 4th line grinder vs perceived superstar.

Knowing the OHL, Boulton will get 10 games and Parekh will get 2 games.
