If it meant adding a veteran D without costing a boatload of picks? See ya Landon!
That may seem harsh, but he has shown he can't control himself on the ice, despite what he adds to the team. Reminds me of Danny Bois that way.
Nail meet hammer. Could not agree more.

Love Dale, but I can’t see him letting Sim go. I know Mark is the GM but Dale is the majority stakeholder and runs the show.

If Eddie came back, it would certainly solidify the defence. But, you’d have another volatile player prone to penalties and suspensions.

Not ideal having one of those players in 2024, let alone three (Ryder).

I recently rewatched the Mem Cup final for the first time since seeing it live. Terrible game from London obviously, but I still don’t know how you bring Sim back after that major penalty. Another takeaway from that game - London was at a disadvantage compared to Saginaw at the center position. Beck, Sapovaliv dominated the dot and quite frankly, the middle of the ice.

I know that this team is loaded, but I think the team composition as it stands now is a bit unbalanced. So, I still think they need another center within the top 9, but perhaps that could be filled internally by trying players at different positions on forward.

Thoughts?

Good for you man! I still haven’t watched the Memorial Cup Final since I was there watching it live. It just hurts too much, but I’m an idiot and will likely go to Rimouski. It was likely the fastest drive from Saginaw to London in world history :(

The Knights were so bad that game. I can’t believe how flat they were for the biggest game of their careers

I got my tickets already from the Rimouski box office (didn’t have to pay re-sale value). I bought them already in September. Just gotta find someone as stupid as me to drive 12 hours for hockey cuz I got 2 tickets.
