London Knights 2023-24 Season Thread (Part One)

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version. Click Here for Updates

You referenced 7/86/3/39 in your post I sarcastically responded to.......now it's also 4 other players? Gotcha.
Ya threw 4 more into the mix with your response....... So 1/3 the team? I'd try n explain how much value those 4 first mentioned will bring over the course of the year but.........
Trade em all, burn it down........or maybe just maybe those involved n know the situation can just coach em up n hope for the best?
Poor weekend.......sure. Bash 1/3 of the teams players in 2 posts.....your right to do so but 7/86/3/39 will give all they got. And no I'm not a fan of all 8 you mentioned in 2 posts but appreciate most will be......I'll stop

Doubt they sit the 8 mentioned, esp the first 4 ;) Nor would I think that's the right move at this point. But we are all entitled to our opinions.
See no digs :) and thats hard when so many leave the door so wide open.

I once saw a kid on bicycle holding a glass bottle! of pop in one hand while watching where he had chucked a newspaper with the other hand; that’s insane!

What happened to Dickinson. All I know is this team is going through some stuff and gotta get their tude right.
 
I have been a part of this thread for a little over a month now and I never thought it would have turned into such a comedy show 11 games into the season. The team may not be off to the perfect 11-0 start that most people in here think they should be, but take these things into consideration.

1. London had the most NHL prospects at camps this fall, so while other teams were coaching there players and teaching them their new systems, almost half of London's players were at other camps.

2. Since the season started London has played 11 games (tied for league most) playing min. 2 games every weekend with a 3in3 in there, while also playing a mid week game every week. Again leaving very little time to practice the new systems.

3. 6 of the 12 "starting forwards" were not part of the team last year and because Dale likes to blend his lines every game, you can expect some growing pains with the team chemistry.

Over the next 10 days London only has 1 game. This team has arguably the most talent and one of if not the best coach in the league. Give the team some time to figure itself out and by Christmas they should be top of the conference.
