Not blaming the refs lol. Calling them out for horrific consistency. How many times did guy take swings at each other after whistles & SAR got called both times. When do you ever see only a dive called? If your gonna call it once you best be consistent with it & they weren't.

Your 1 call early (can't remember which 1) was soft. They missed a hook by Del Mastro early as well.
In case you haven't noticed both referee calls were not for "swinging" they were to Sarnia players for "roughing" before the whistle and altercations started . Of all 5 London penalties not one was called for "roughing". Tell us who do you think were the aggressor again?

Great win for Knights and Brochu was extremely steady. Having so much balance on our forward lines is great but we need leaders to pull us to next level and the addition of Winterton and Humphrey has done that. McCue was his usual chirping self last night...OK as long as he keeps it in check.

Super Dale900 looks a little tired here.

Winnable game last night for the Sting but London aren’t quitters. Brochu obviously a game breaker back there. Fortunate to have that type of goaltending.

Like many comments already, I thought the Sting had a very strong first period but the Knights weathered that storm thanks to some good play by Brochu. I thought the refs inserted themselves a bit too much in the game, especially in the first. Not saying that b/c London got 4 penalties to Sarnia's single. Rather, some soft calls imo for a game that was not chippy at all in the first, two good hard playing teams ... let them play !

Knights got their legs going in the second and I felt controlled the play most of the rest of the game. Sarnia came on a bit in the third when they activated their defence. London was content to flip the puck out rather than press which was a good strategy. I was surprised at the lateness of the goalie pull especially when down by two and particularly when on the PP.

I still think this series will go 7 but I love the compete level of this Knights team.

We know Levin Nicholl and O'Reilly are up practicing with the team, does anyone knows if they called up an 8th D and a third goalie as well?
I believe they always have additionals(in the organization) up practicing with the team. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think they always have a 3rd and 4th goalie in gear at practices

Won't have to read my terrible tweets tomorrow as I'm going to the game. So maybe you can hear me yell my stupidity :)

Best spot to get food before or after the game?

Most often, yes. Esp with a tender if available. Not sure if they pare it down ( skaters) in the playoffs to increase focus/reps but local kids (Nats,Stars, Kings) often will get practice time when it doesn't conflict with JrB schedules.
Kooy was with them almost FT while playing major midget as one example, and a ton of F/D examples also.

Represent well...don't be like the fools that sat in 309 on Friday. My daughter asked why grown men act that way. I said it the most polite way I could. I told her that if you're from Sarnia you either get a full set of teeth or limited braincells...you don't get both...so sometimes people pick the teeth.

;)

as for food....go to the little Pizza shop across from the Bud....a bit pricey but top shelf eats

What are ya looking for? Within a 10 minute walk there are a ton of options.
Market across the street for quick eats, FitzRays seems popular but can't speak to the food ( basic pub menu). Milos is good ( esp craft beer selection but usually closed on sundays I think) Along Richmond a ton of restaurants ( Spaghetti Eddies for portions n it's a neat place, Joe Kools is iconic, Toboggan is good. Not sure of the restaurants across the street within a 2 min walk but there is probly 5 or 6 of them.
Tasting room or Church Key are great but not as "pubish"
Lots of Sting fans here on Friday. Good to see n maybe they got some non local thoughts.

I was kind of looking for names, just curious to see who they had for #8 D and #3 goalie, it's not that they'll see any action though

Unfortunately every fan base has that certain % of Dbags. I promise I am not one haha. We have 2 fan buses going down too so there will be a few more than yesterday I think.

Pretty obvious this is true in following any of your posts. It does beg the question surely you weren't born and raised in Sarnia? ;)
Born & raised.. been thru all the disappointments 😂

Look forward to seeing the Bud again. Been 6 years since I went. Have they made any changes?

Lot of consession lines don't take cash. Cash lines seemed longer last night.

All the same otherwise, I'd stay away from the consessions n hit the pop ups in concourse if needed

You now have to pass through security screening gates. Notice says no potential weapons allowed. Noticed some elderly Sting fans checking their dentures at the entrances.:naughty::D
