This is exactly why you don't do away with the 3 stars in favor of a player of the game for both teams. Nobody should receive anything after that debacle.

Re: Tymkin.... short term pain for long term gain... I can stomach the 5 minute major if it means he won't be on the ice for the rest of the game

This is the absolute worst period I can remember. The referring is just about as bad as the Knights and Kitchener is getting some lucky bounces. I think Broucho is in over his head.

It boggles my mind that this team has imploded so bad just because they lost a couple of players to the WJC. Where is the heart? Where is the grit? All I see is selfish play (I'm lookimg at you Tymkin), poor fundamentals and a lack of desire. Is it coaching? Maybe. And maybe this is an eye-opener for the Hunter clan that the team just can't be handed to Dylan and Steadman. Great assistants but bad head coaches IMO. I was at the game but left at the beginning of the 3rd period, I was so frustrated and disgusted with their play. The game turned after the Tymkin head hunt. He should never wear a Knights Jersey ever again. Leaders have to lead and all he does is take bad penalties. Whatever the next few weeks brings it's going to be painful IMO.
