You may wanna watch the replay again. Lochead was suspended because of the outcome. Neither hit was a head hit and both videos CLEARLY show this to be fact. Yes..you can be suspended because of the excessive force of a hit. Had Lochead been penalized for charging I don't think there would even be a debate

We still have rookie Langdon out with a concussion that Storm fans one in particular considered a clean hit. League ruled it no suspension. Guess when it's on the other foot Storm fans see it differently.

You and I will have to disagree on this one. I saw the replays ( there are 2 of them ) and came to the conclusion that both hits were clean. The Guelph players injuries resulted from hitting the ice, and his visor cutting him.
Lochead's hit was tame, when compared to some graduated Knights like Zac Rinaldo, Max Jones, or Todd Perry.

Even after a win you still go back and harp about what happened in a loss. You must be a real blast at parties

Curious as to if the Knights went home last night or booked a hotel in Hamilton. I'm guessing they probably went home, but logistically it makes sense to head to Hamilton since they have the game in Erie tomorrow.

I just have to say, that game last night brought flashbacks of these two teams meeting in the 2000's. What a fun game (maybe not for the goalies). We had a bunch of Knights fans in front of us and I gotta say, it was so fun to chirp back and forth as the game went on. It's only fitting that both coaches would do the same after the game too. I am not sad that the Rangers lost, I am sad that will probably be the last game of the year between them both. I really do love this rivalry.

I gave up several "hits" ago trying to understand what is called a head hit and what is not. This goes for the OHL and the Professional ranks. I have no idea how a ref is supposed to figure it out with the speed of play factored in.

Take bet and lose. Up 4-1 and you allow them to come back?? They gave puck away clearing attempts sucked. Definitely out in 1st round..

To Windsor? Not bloody likely...
Erie? Doubtful....
Sarnia? Slim chance but better than the other 2.
2nd round, can’t see the Knights beating any of Soo, Saginaw or Guelph at this point. Would need an upset of one of those teams in the first round to make WCF’s.

I never thought coming into the season that this was a championship caliber Knights team, but they surprised me the first half. Now some terrible asset management and lousy coaching decisions seem to be catching up to them.
Hope they can right the ship, but their defence and goaltending need to be a lot better, and frankly so does Dale Hunter.

This is the time of the season when most team goes through a low, where most players think individually. Some think of beefing up their own statistics as the end of the season is nearing and others thinks of showcasing their stuff to scouts for the NHL draft, other players just don't quite understand what's happening with the individual players as things are no longer working too well. Many plays end up breaking at the end of a stick, other players are starting to tighten up their grip on their own sticks and of course we have players trying to impress the coaching staffs so to get more ice. It's all individual at this time of the season, the team system and team plays are suffering but there will be better days ahead.

This is the time of the year when the lower teams have things to prove for themselves, they are sending the top teams messages and pushing harder to gauge themselves in preparation for the playoffs. What we are seeing right now is normal, all higher teams are experiencing pretty much the same if we look at Ottawa and the Soo lately . When the playoffs starts it's totally different , what was all individualistic in the team is no more. now all players are thinking of a same goal and it is to reach for the top prize. We will have 20 minds thinking the same thing, it's the top teams turn to prove their worth once again, it will finally start to roll again and the team will be back, good things will be happening just like earlier in the season. The Knights will be back stronger for the playoffs, only because every opponents they are meeting right now are all putting little extra in their efforts, they are the London knights, the team most franchises like to beat the most.

Healthy Scratch might have been Maintenance oriented as he was beat up a bit in the last couple games at Bud Gardens.
He is in the lineup today. ( although that probably doesn't help from your prospective )

Can somebody tell me what rock Gloverone 2020 slithered out from under ffs. This person reminds me of my ex-wife's mother who was the most negative bitch that God ever put on this planet and was equal in the lack of grey matter between the ears. Since last fall not one positive post. Win 8-1 and he/she posts nothing win a game 8-6 and the world is falling. Only thing missing is the sign being carted around ffs!
