Toronto, ON – The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Columbus Blue Jackets prospect Liam Foudy of the London Knights is the OHL ‘On the Run’ Player of the Week for the regular season week ending January 27 recording eight points in three games with four goals and four assists and a plus-minus rating of plus-8.
His week wrapped up Sunday night in Oshawa with a pair of goals including a shorthanded highlight reel marker and one assist earning third star honours in the 5-3 triumph over the Generals. Foudy’s 10-game point-streak includes goals in nine-straight games which is one shy of the league’s longest such streak of the season. His two goals on Sunday also bring his season total to 25 which is a new career-high.

I know its cliche but London will take BPA.
High end Fs drive this league and have for a while.
I love the D side of the game and its invaluable but there has been more high end Fs avail than D over the last few years. London has done a great job acquiring solid D with later picks, FAs and trades over the years. They seem to place a premium on Fs ( yes I know they snagged Bouchard, C Syvret , Harrington ect... In rd 1)

Im just saying they'll BPA regardless of position, and fill in the holes as needed.
Both those Don Mills kids should be gone early. Having seen them play 3/4 times this year that whole team is impressive and could have a mittful drafted top 15.
The Brantford kid may stick around a bit longer. Only seen 2 of their games.

Ill see more thru the next few weeks.

Better year for Alliance kids for sure over last year.

Schmidt has an NCAA commitment, don’t know how solid it is. Might be enough to drop him down although I’m sure someone will take a chance before London. Clarke will likely go 2nd to Kingston if Wright gets exceptional player status.

I agree with the BPA philosophy, however after this season they will have a huge number of returning forwards compared to Dmen. I think they almost have to go Dman unless they know they’re getting some previous picks reporting.

How many 20 goal scorers will the Knight have this year? Currently we have Hancock (38 Goals), McMichael (29 Goals), Foudy (25 Goals), Dunkley (20 Goals)....guys who are close ish are Tymkin (19 Goals), Nelson (14 Goals) ...hard to say if anyone else goes on a good streak and scores 10 in the last 22 games? I could see Stranges/Moskal/Guskov/Boqvist/Bouchard having this potential...

Lets have some fun with this and we can see how it actually ends up. I say that the goals will be as follows

Hancock 58
Foudy 40
McMichael 40
Dunkley 30
Tymkin 25
Nelson 20
Moskal 16
Boqvist 16
Bouchard 15
Cotter 15

These I think are the top 10.

Writing is a bit rough around the edges right now. But prepared a little something about the milestones Raaymakers is prepared to hit

Raaymakers Climbing The All Time Rankings - The OHL Collective

Excellent catch Seb!
From that article.
Impressive!
According to Crease Giants, Raaymakers is a physical beast as well.
Every year there is one fitness freak that dominates nearly every category of the combine and for the 2016 draft eligible goalies, that person is Joseph Raaymakers. While we don’t have an official height or weight for Raaymakers from the combine, it doesn’t matter much. What does matter is the results and here is what Raamakers did:
No. 1 goalie & 5th Overall in the Pro Agility Left test
No. 1 goalie & 7th Overall in the Pro Agility Right test
This is a rather big deal as it shows the strength and ability of Raaymakers to make side-to-side movements which are the type of movements goalies make the most.
No. 1 goalie & 25th Overall in the Anaerobic Fitness: Mean Power Output
Tied for no. 1 goalie & 21st overall in the Fatigue Index
No. 1 goalie in Wingspan
No. 2 goalie & 13th Overall in Body Fat%
No. 4 goalie & 10th Overall in VO2max test
