Lomberg absolutely dusts Bastian.

But I thought the little devils were TUFF now after their lamebrained GM brought in all those slow, no name plugs. Nope, they still wilt when the games get even the least bit physical. Hit them hard and they lose all willingness to go into the tough areas. I feel bad for players like Bastian that try and push back and get no support from the their teammates or coach.

Your last three posts in three different threads has been about the Devils, have we always been in your head rent free?

I've been watching Rangers, devils and islanders games for decades and lived in NYC, Long Island and Jersey during those years. I post about the devils because they're a shitshow organization that's wildly dysfuntional and has wasted so many top picks. And of course the uber-sensitive devils fans are chef's kiss.

I can see why you're so triggered considering it's been a long time since you've beaten us when it matters.

For 5’9” he’s tough and those were impressive fights, so I went to YouTube to check him out and this is the first fight that came up.

Kudos to Lomberg for having balls to go with a guy so much bigger -- but yikes what a bad decision.

Wow that guy seemed to barely have ever felt it lmao. Love the fight in lomberg but man if that dude was getting fed like that from a guy of similar height he’d be dropped. That guy didn’t even buckle lol

Pillow puncher. Landed five clean shots and couldn’t buckle his opponent.

This isn’t MMA, hockey fights don’t usually involve a guy going totally lights-out. Bastian was visibly dazed after the first shot or two. Just because he didn’t buckle, doesn’t mean his eggs weren’t scrambled.

Now we know his jaw was broken by one of those shots, which is probably about the time his brain switched off.

He had Bastian in all sorts of trouble. Reminded me of when Lucic fought Prust and had him in a similar position by the Rangers bench.
