The Wild logo would be better if the head was outlined a bit better. That light brown/beige sucks.
I'd presume the kachina jersey and the Wild alternate would both likely do very well in a jersey vote.Wild's logo is fine but it's getting a bit overrated here along with Arizona's logo. Both of those logos are way better on paper than on an actual jersey.
The Wild logo always evokes very negative thoughts about all of the Americans killed each year by bears, cougars, and other Wild animals. The Sabres logo always evokes very negative thoughts about the gruesome American Indian Wars and the elimination of the American bison by the US government and military which kind of ruins it as a design even if aesthetically it's not nearly as bad.
The Wild's original jerseys were great, then they came up with that hideous red alternate jersey. It went all downhill from there.Mainly the problem is that the palette isn't very good. Red and green rarely work well next to one another. Their own alternate is much better in that regard.

It's mindboggling to me why so many people like the black and red pseudo-lacrosse Sabres jerseys. They weren't that great and it feels like a 3rd of the league wears black, red and white. I suppose if you didn't watch hockey prior to 1996 then they're nostalgic. For those of us that did they represent a huge mistake. Erasure of the original identity of the franchise. When they left the Aud to play in the generic cave that they play in today. The end of good times. When I see the blue and gold and I think of the French Connection, Mayday, Pat LaFontaine, Mogilny and his insane 92 season, Hasek standing on his head against the Devils in game 6 of the 94 playoffs. When I see the goatheads I think foot in the crease and the 2 great seasons with Briere/Drury where they didn't even make it to the final. I have many more good memories of blue and gold than I do black and red.I'd say their most iconic jerseys were with the red goat head guy. So why is this getting so much love? It was the logo on the "turd burger" jersey, considered one of the worst sweaters in league history.
It's not particularly simple (the one knock on the wild too, I admit), it's not iconic, it's not particularly original or interesting.
It looks like Wild are taking the L here, but the logo is on another level in cleverness. It really does give continuous two/tree (xD) dimensional vibes, especially those that love the nature and wildlife.Sabres for me here, but I do think the Wild logo is one of the most clever and underrated in the league.
BUF has a fine enough logo. I like it. Top half of the league. Love the colour scheme. And at least it has the swords on there, unlike most other Sabres logos in the past having just the buffalo.
But the crossing swords isn't an original look, that animal silhouette is pretty ugly, the action lines are lame, and I'd say their most iconic jerseys were with the red goat head guy. I would have guessed that TOR, CHI, and MIN would be in the top 4 in this tournament. I'm shocked to see none of them will make the top 4 now, and that the Sabres logo knocked out 2 of them.
