Yeah he barely produced in Laval, didn't grow his game at all and definitely does not deserve it with his performances

Not to mention the guy has transformed into a team leader on and off the ice and in the community. He has put in the time and learned from his mistake.

As a player he played every game for Laval and had an outstanding rookie season for Laval. He truly deserves this.

I don't see Hughes trading a D with the hopes that Mailloux or Reinbacher can take over as they need to figure some things out in the AHL first imo.
