Prospect Info: Logan Mailloux Part 3 The Only Hockey Talk Thread

I can see Reinbacher,or Mailloux, making the teapot of camp next season, but definitely not both. There's no way we insert two rookie RHDs to start next season!

We start the year with Matheson - Carrier, Guhle - Hutson and one of Xhekaj, or Struble, on a pairing with one of Reinbacher, or Mailloux.

By Christmas, the RHD not called at the start of the season should get the nod to step up to the NHL.

By the deadline, one of Matheson or Xhekaj get traded, depending on what positions we filled in the offseason and on what either player can garner in trade.

I'd actually really want to see pairing of Xhekaj-Mailloux as a 3rd pairing to start next season. I think the two can have good chemistry together.

With another 25-40 games in Laval, Reinbacher should be ready to step up to the NHL alongside Hutson and he couldplay a safer defensive game to start off, with less expectations and pressure to perform as an all-around D right from the get-go.

I don't know about Xhekaj-Mailloux together. Arber struggled defensively most of the year, and Logan is still not looking great in his own zone in the AHL apparently. Might get eaten alive.

Very different players. Mailloux is more physical, much heavier shot. Not as great a skater - not as agile.

Barron has (had?) a serious confidence problem and doesn't seem to have high hockey IQ. Mailloux has the confidence, IQ still has to be proven, but he mostly lacks experience IMO.

I recall Justin Barron in the WJC, he was lights out good. Would have been a top 3 defenseman. Not sure he fell off.

Damn, series clinching goal due to Scheifele's penalty. Can it get any worse for him man. And Appleton had game 7 on his stick. Awful man.
