Logan Cooley quiet breakout year

Utah has a really nice core and should compete within the next few years. I don't know what happened to Maccelli as i thought he would be one of the best playmaker out there, but they have many more offensive threats. Go Utah!

He would absolutely not be redundant. Having two #1Cs would be transformational for a team like the Habs.

xxx - Suzuki - Caufield
Demidov - Cooley - xxx

That's the way you build cup winners.

Slaf is great, but the team would absolutely be better with Cooley. There's no shame in admitting that either. They still got 2 of the best 5 players in the draft.
Too early to tell. Big dudes tend to be late bloomers and i think Slaf's mentality and attitude are befitting a star. And i have a feeling he's the kind of player to step it up in the playoffs.

I don't think Cooley has proven enough at all to make me regret having Slaf yet.

If Utah can get a better defence(preferably another stay at home defence) and more consistent goaltending, they can compete for the playoffs next year.

They have a ton of prospects in the pipe + a lot picks, I am praying/hoping that they mover up the draft this year. And they final have stable ownership, that is willing to spend.

I think they will be in the playoffs next year, this year has just been a hard time, with the relocation and everything.

I think a player like Mitch Marner can help them a lot.

Let’s see what they do in the offseason.

Arsonist in the making, it's sad we're so focused on guys who burn down whole villages, we can't stop and appreciate the little guy who might only burn down a few houses, a horse drawn carriage or a dog house. We need to appreciate the small things more and Logan Cooley quietly reminds us of that.

Montreal / Toronto fans always make every thread about themselves. Can't wait until both teams are bounced in the playoffs. Should be a quick exit for both squads.

Do you know why Montreal / Toronto fans make it all about themselves ? It's because it is

Not sure if i should believe HfBoards. I was told weird things like "Matias Maccelli is a stud!"
Maccelli had a bad year, but this is a player in the right situation that can easily be a 60 point guy. I think he needs a fresh start somewhere new that has an opening in the top 6 where he can flourish. This guys vision is off the charts.

Interesting? Do you think Marner will end up in Utah?

Read my statement again, I said “I think a player like Mitch Marner, can help Utah”, never said he was going there.

I was just asking? So, you think Marner can help Utah, but you don't think he will end up there, correct?

I was just wondering where people can see Marner going (or staying).
