I think Lloyd is from 2008. We were chasing the playoffs and dealing with injuries. We would keep winning but losing another player. Hence a sacrifice to Lloyd for the two points.



We needed to almost win out and we did, thanks to Huet, Ovechkin and Lloyd. We’ve been a playoff team almost every year since.

This is also where the legendary ovechkin in the side mirror pic is from.


But it’s been almost 20 years so someone can correct me if that’s wrong.

I don't know where Lloyd came from but he predates 2018 for sure.

Sometimes it's best not to know these things.

Same lines for tonight but Silber dropped this interesting nugget earlier.
