I'm hoping to actually watch the game live tonight instead of watching it on delay (which requires staying off social media in order to avoid spoilers). The kids' 7 p.m. bedtime (and/or making dinner) has made it impossible to get settled on the couch in time to watch the game live.

Especially annoying because, unlike the ESPN+ app (which usually allows you to skip commercials when you're watching on delay, thus allowing one to catch up on the live broadcast--but isn't showing any playoff games now), the Hulu Live and HBO/Max apps do *not* let you skip commercials, even when watching on delay.

It’s an HFCaps tradition. How it started I couldn’t tell you, though I think txpd (RIP) had something to do with it. Lloyd looked over us during the 2018 run.
