Do we have to keep 4 center 4 right wing 4 left wings at all times though? Or do we just have to draft that way?

And can I draft like 4 centers + Malkin as a RW since he is listed as C/RW?

Well you want to fill the position don't you? Yeah you can draft like that but you're going to want to fill the roster holes like I said. You don't want 7 C's if you can't play them.

You draft your whole team. And the waivers are depending on how Kyle set it and will be based off the rankings and who claims them. IR only works if the player that is there is on IR, and you pick up another player during that time. If you want to take that player off IR you need to make a roster spot for that player.

Okay, So I draft 4C, 4RW, 4LW, 6D and 2G. Then we have 6 bench spots and 3 IR spots. So we use waivers to get the 6 bench spots? And you want to have bench full at all times? And if someone gets injured we can put them on IR and fill that spot from our bench and use waivers to get another player to put back on the bench?

For those who have any previous experience with the yahoo fantasy thingy...yahoo lists some players with multiple positions, will some of them be changed like one gets removed or one get added, or will they remain as they are right now? And does it ever change mid-season

They will update mid season, if a player has been eclusively playing a certain position.

But to answer the question you didn't ask...

Yes having players who can play multiple positions can be valuable.

As far as i know, they won't take away position eligibility midseason, but could potentially add.

Im not 100% sure though, simply going by my experience (ex bfugly got double eligibility midseason 2 years or so ago)

Bench is filled at draft.

YOu can draft players who are IR but will have to wait until after the draft to put them on the IR at which point yhou can add a player from waivers to fill your vacant spot. It will drop you in waiver order and you will have to drop a player when your IR player gets healthy.

*Thinking of Kesler????:naughty:

Edit: You do not have to keep a full roster. If you would rather just leave a spot open while a player is injured you can.

You draft 26 players, the 4C's, 4LW's, 4RW's, 6D, and 2G, and the remaining 6 players can be whatever you want.

A guy like bfugly if he has a good year could be HUGE since winger depth sucks and d depth sucks.

Centres are the least valuable position. If you can get comparable stats from the wing always take the winger

I don't know what I'm thinking which is why I'm asking so many questions

And what is the bench's purpose? Is it in case one of the players on your roster is only playing 2 games while someone on the bench is playing 4 so you switch them for that week to get more games in?

In that case is it wise to have say 3 forwards, 2 defense and 1 goalie on the bench?

You change your lineup daily. If a guy isn't playing, replace him with a guy on your bench.

Edit: unless its a weekly pool? In which case i have no idea why you'd be carrying a 6 player bench.

Also, id love to pm you...but Im on my phone, and i barely know how to use this site on my new galaxy

pretty much yeah, you dress your 20 players and you just leave 6 other players on the bench for that week

You didn't come off as one. And anyways, who isn't?
True enough.

Everyone can be a little stinker every now and again.

I don't know what I'm thinking which is why I'm asking so many questions
That's how you learn.

Don't worry H2H is easy. It's more a matter of putting time to set the lineup.

The purpose of the bench is the same as in real hockey. To have players you want to keep at your disposal to move in and out of the lineup on a daily basis.

Any combo will do.
You want to join Brody?

Brody? I feel bad beating on a girl. :sarcasm:
