LL v.99 - Old Dude taking charge

Basically.. I got so messed up I don't remember what happened. I did something really embarrassing and I'd rather not talk about it.. Even if I could remember. :laugh: I kid bud.

Almost done my rankings and I've realized with the categories we have, there's a lot of valuable players in real life that aren't so valuable in the fantasy league. One one of those players is our very own Kessel. He's good in goals, assists and PPP. But he's absolute crap in PIM, blocks, hits, +/-. Essentially, in 4 out of the 7 categories he is crap.

Yeah just your basic offensive dynamos don't really help in this. Specially when they are less physical then your grandma with a bad hip.

I guess I was just surprised at how far down I have someone like Kessel. I mean, maybe I'm wayyy off given I don't have much fantasy hockey experience, but...I would honestly not choose Kessel until many many rounds have passed.

You're not that far off. In terms of fantasy, Phil doesn't bring that much to the table.
 
Speaking of fantasy, I have a draft at 11am tomorrow with buddies from my hockey team .. Winner of the pool gets $500, and I have only looked at my keepers .. (Rules are 2 forwards, and at least 1 d-man and 1 goalie, or 2 d-men)

.. I have Giroux (got him two years ago before he broke out) .. Parise .. Pietrangelo and Karlsson (best draft pick last year in the 10th round)
 
why does mapleleafs.com always have to have the ugliest background out of all the teams..
