The Blues played a better 2nd Period than 1st, at least until the 2 puck giveaways and clear breakaways on The Power Play. The Blues had a chance to blow the game open. Now, we still have to be nervous. They' better come out and finish up The Power Play with a goal.
Looks like on that shorthanded goal, seems like Holloway deserves more blame than Faulk. Holloway left his man open
As someone who likes Faulk, the best long term solution is to move him and get a younger (23-26 year old) RHD to play behind Parayko. If Nemec or Clarke hit's the Market they need to go hard for them. Or if we can make a deal for Dobson centered around our 1st rounder this draft.

Excuse. Wasnt here over half of Blues members liking Faulk? I was only vocal who saw how Bad he is.

Eh, Faulk was pretty careless with the puck on the blueline, essentially turning it over twice. That's on him.
Holloway should have stayed in front of the net instead of skating by. I’m guessing he was assuming Faulk had the front covered but Faulk had a chance to just hit the puck anywhere and he let the puck eat up his feet instead.

Coaches don't usually limit defensemen from playing on the powerplay for this reason. It usually stems from managing ice time or simply not being the best puck distributor on the backend.

No. People were complaining about Faulk up until the end of the break when he found his game again.
Also “Army would” is dumb lol he’s had a full NTC that expires this summer.
Same lol. I have no true beef with Faulk(will criticize when warranted), but that’s the ideal move for me. We need a younger top 4 RHD as Parayko ages, and we can’t wait until Jiricek hits his prime to do that.
I think Faulk has been pretty horrible on the D side. But, he was really solid until he got hurt in the playoffs. I don’t think he’s been the same player since. He used to be pretty physical and really the only Blues D that stood up on the blue line.
