Had to listen to the game while driving tonight. Didn't see the replay video until I got home. Letting Skinner start another game is just management malpractice. He offers minimal upside and the downside of losing the series himself. He's not an NHL caliber player, full stop. Even when he's playing good he's just good. No reason to trust him, a multitude of reasons to distrust him. Play anyone else in the organization. One of the worst playoff goalies ever to grace the league.

You're correct it was going wide, but Draisaitl was forced to make a desperation decision because Skinner was swimming in no man's land. it's hilarious that you can only see one of Skinner's skate blades in this still shot.

Go frame by frame from the moment the puck enters the frame, then draw a line between them and continue. It’s going in, or the very least hitting that f***ing post. It’s close enough for Drai to think he has to do something.

He moved his stick 3 inches from the blue line when Smith shot the puck. Call it a deflection, but it didn't just happen to hit his stick like the puck happened to hit McNabb's skate on McDavid's goal. If Draisaitl had done nothing, the game would have went to OT.

Like I said, Skinner is maybe a backup goalie. He cost the team the game in the grand scheme of things. But that last goal is on Draisaitl. If Pickard had made that play, people would be blaming Draisaitl. God help us if it were Nurse who deflected it.

It’s a complete collapse from everyone on the ice. They threw the game.

How many times have they failed to pick up the trailer tonight? Just look at the game winner..

The trailer was there constantly. Good thing Vegas were squandering it most of the night but they had so many looks.

The whole structure of the Oilers seems off when Skinner is in net. They get outside of their ideal game now. But in fairness they started the bad play in game 2 and somehow won the game.

Bad look from the whole team tonight. Home ice, chance to put a deathlock on series, Vegas missing Stone, Saad, and Dorofeyev injured and not able to do anything.

We basically lost to players like Karlsson and Reilly. They were doing everything for Vegas tonight. Eichel and Hertyl were hopeless and especially on PP.

Disgusting game to play in front of your home crowd that pays deep to get these tickets. 12SOG in first two periods = deserve to lose.
