I have 3 backups in the SIM between 2.5-3.3 M

His value is around 2.5-3 M

I think 99% of Bruins fans think it’s more

Whenever someone starts bitching to me about him about his contract I ask them ‘bluntly’ what is his contract

They don’t know or get it wrong

On this thread it’s probably 80 % think he’s getting 4 M, 5 M, or don’t know

Sorcerer Bob knows goalies and Donny who graduated from Harvard with economics degree knows value
Well, the cap hit is one component and the other three key components are the term, the player’s age, and the player’s recent performance. All three are bad news in this case. And that is for the exercise of judging the contract. Another matter is judging the deal that brought the contract on the books. That one isn’t good either.

The better deal was no deal. Deal him at the deadline. His tune would have changed with 25 games played in a contract year. His list would have gotten a lot bigger
Swayman signing is probably done and much easier if Ullmark had blocked the move which by all accounts he would have done adding Ottawa on July 1 to his list which included every other potential landing spot.

Golden Knights' Ilya Samsonov Calls Out Senators Linus Ullmark On Instagram

Samsonov struggled and Ullmark was benched for Jeremy Swayman, despite that, Ullmark had very harsh words about the new Golden Knights netminder.

"I was surprised that they kept Samsonov in for that many games against us in the playoffs," Ullmark said. I felt that every time we played the Leafs and he (Joseph Woll) was in net, it felt like it was more of a challenge even though I’m not a player. Just watching him, it looked like he was in so much more control of the situation that was thrown at him."

Samsonov didn't wait too long to respond taking to Instagram today, just a couple of months after Ullmark's initial remarks to rebuttal.

"#10❤️" before adding another comment below his original message. "November 21, keep your a** shut) or are you injured again?" Samsonov commented.

Meanwhile, if Korpisalo buys a house in Boston I'm going to puke.....
I am not a fan of the Ullmark trade, but this reversal opinion of Ullmark, who many bitched about his playoff numbers, are the same ones now wish he was still here, makes you want to go ummmm, Korpisalo has actually had better play off numbers. That is not a endorsement of Korpisalo, or a shot at Ullmarks playoff numbers, just thought I would point that out.

The corpse led the league in goals on first shot of game last year. He’s brutal and a walking back breaker/morale killer. You can’t compare him to Ullmark.
I don’t care Ullmark is gone, but I do care that Sweeney has f***ed this situation up so bad we may have Gone from best goalie tandem in the league to Brandon Bussi as our starter in less than 6 months. That’s insane

Guessing the Bruins could have received a better return had they not needed all parties to lie about having an extension in place or Linus was intent on playing out his contract

I was not trying to compare them, just bringing up the playoff performance's. I must be in total agreement that Sweeney, misplayed this whole situation. I know everyone is the opinion that this shit happens all the time and that is true, but I really think this has a different feel to it.

If he so badly misplayed it, as you keep saying, what’s the end result you’re worried about?

I’m cool with Bussi starting and telling Swayman to eat shit. Bussi is nasty.

Bruins blue line with Zadorov is cheat sheet good we don’t need an elite goalie and we can make average look great. Swayman can focus on friends faith and family this year and not play if he won’t sign. And then we’ll get Ullmark in the summer.

If Swayman comes in over $8-9 I will be the first here to say "I was right, we should have retained Ullmark" and traded Swayman. You have to believe the bruins and Swayman agreed to a number before the trade went down.

Dean leternaeu is the wild card if he hits Don wins big and if korpi is decent more icing on the cake.
Yes and Swayman comes in under 8.

Well he does have four years left on his deal, so it’s entirely possible. Yes, that is correct, FOUR MORE years, he’ll be 34 at expiry.
Look, I know that. But I had successfully put it in the deep recesses of my mind. Almost like it didn't exist. And now you bring it to the surface.

Damn you Kalus.

May not be the popular opinion at the moment but I have no desire to have Ullmark back simply because Sweeney is botching the Swayman negotiations. I'm infinitely happier paying Swayman 8+ a year than watching Ullmark piss down his leg yet again in the playoffs

In what way is Sweeney "botching the Swayman negotiations"?
