When you have a healthy player like Pietrangelo pulling out it makes you wonder.

not really, he's won so much for canada and is 35.

I wouldn't be surprised to see any vet sit out with his accolades

Brady doesn't have a pre-existing injury that needs to be managed I think is the obvious difference here.

I doubt there'd be any cares from anyone if Ullmark hadn't missed so much time to a mysterious back injury and where he appears to be coming back just in time to play in the tourney.

Ullmark has been injured on 3 occasions this season. He has been injured for over a month and is still injured as I am making this post. Ullmark hasn't played a game since Dec. 22nd because of a back injury.

Brady hasn't missed a game this season.

Ullmark has more of a history of being injured than Brady Tkachuk.
