Not sure he'd cost as much as they're suggesting but Rasmus Ristolainen rumors are swirling around. He'd actually help our defense over Petry/Holl. (imo)

wouldn't hate it but then I'd have to revise my prediction we go after Justin Faulk. Have to think either Petry or Holl would go the other way if Philly isn't on their no trade list.

I personally hope that at some point they try Kasper with Kane. Compher isn't having a good start to the season and Copp kinda has stone hands, but Kasper might have some untapped offense. He seems like a really smart young player who could cover for Kane's lack of defensive effort as well (if Lalonde is worried about that). Kane has a great hockey iq and seems like Kasper is a pretty smart cookie too. They might play well together. Having Kane with both Copp and Compher seems a bit excessive to me. Right now Wings second line is like an offensive black hole. It just adds more pressure for Larkins line to produce. Maybe playing with Kane could spark Kaspers offense.

Compher with 1 assist last 9 games and -3. Horrible game last night. Needs to be scratched for a game or two.

Move Tank to 4th line if he winds up being a defensive liability.

I posted this in the draft thread, but worth repeating since it's about the current team....

Last 9 games:
- Compher: 1 assist, -3
- Copp: 1 goal, even
- Raz: 1 very lucky goal, 1 assist, -2
- Kane: 1G 2A, -5
- Fish: no points, -3 (last 11 games)
- Joey: 1 goal, -4 (last 12 games)
- Tank: 4 assists, -5 (last 11 games)
- Burger: 2 goals, -5 (last 13 games)
- Kasper: 2G 1 A -3 (last 13 games), all 3 pts were in the last 3 games

C'mon Fester, let's try some new lines damn it.

Goalie TBD?

Tank rewarded for his lackluster play, Joey scratched instead of Compher. Motte in the lineup despite being pretty much useless. They should at least check temperature and make sure he's a warm body.

But at least Fester changed lines after 9 really shitty games. I've said it often, but that guy is just too damn stubborn. He sticks with his lines and system way longer than he should when things aren't working. Most NHL coaches will change things around after 3-5 games, even on just a temporary basis.

My prediction? Tank will live up to his name and help the team Tank. And our GusHoll gets reamed like a child abuser in prison.

Actually I like those lines. This way second and fourth lines is going to be better.

Yeah, he is not one for changing tactics. He doesn't change strategies in games either. I think that is part of the reason why it looks like they are protecting leads, but they are really just using the same strategy, and not adjusting to the opponents forecheck.

The guys that are bolded are the problem. Idk how much can be changed in a season but three or four forwards need out and three defensemen need out.

I'd be happy with 1 new defensemen in the top 4. One need forward to play in the middle six, plus bring up Mazur. Move Lyon for(something) and then bring the rookie Cossa up.

Like what does Cossa actually have to do to join the team? Post consistent shut outs? I wouldn't "blame" them though for keeping him down because the NHL is bad, but man is Cossa showing out.

Larkin/Kane/Lyon/Fischer might be the only players you get "real" value for unless you like flipping players for older-prospects/low round picks.
