Ligue 1 24 25

Strasbourg have been a revelation. Might be the most exciting team no one is talking about.

Maybe im being nostalgic but Im impressed by this Nansi kid.

Fofana what a strike … jeez

Almada has been great today. Think evilo might’ve been hard on him last game

I am a big fan of Almada and I would have liked him in my team last summer. He probably hasn't settled in yet but he is a player who has shown me incredible things with Argentina. He is a player who should be waited for (since he was paid quite a bit).

He has shown a lot of good potential so far.
He was, however, very bad against United. In both legs.

Again I think you were harsh on him in the second league. Hes shown enough to belong in Europe for sure
No argument there. But yes he was bad.
He was the worst Lyon player in the first leg.
In the second leg, he didn't cover Ugarte on his goal and then cost a pen. Was totally out of his depth.

First leg he was awful we commented on it live time. 2nd leg he was better.

You dont judge a player like Almada on his defence. The penalty was a mistake anyone can make he crazed the foot of the player attempting to clear the ball. It just unlucky. It doesn't negate his performance offensively in which he wasn't that bad.

Love to see it. Very excited about the kid - Lavia is already close to world class but can't stay on the pitch, and we've been one Caicedo injury away from sliding down to midtable all season. Will also be helpful to have more secondary scoring from midfield, because right now we really only get anything from Enzo.

All this to say, looking forward to the deadline day announcement that he's been sold to, like, Monaco or somethin.

Haven't seem much of Bouaddi, but at 17, that seems like a very good pedigree to be playing regularly for 2nd to 7th placed team in L1.

At what level where do you see him ending up and who would be comparable established players?
He's really awesome.
Very cool on the ball, very elegant.
Reminds me of young Rabiot.

Strasbourg beat PSG today 2-1 and are now 4th, which would qualify them for the CL. But it's still a tight race, with 6 teams fighting for three spots.

It would be funny if Strasbourg made the CL but their parent club Chelsea didn't. Maybe that would persuade some of Chelsea's players staying on and going on a loan to Strasbourg.

Barcola's goal was nice, good finish after long straightforward run.

Strasbourg have to play Angers and Le Havre in their remaining games.
My money would be on them making it.
