Agreed. That's the remedy for him I think. I don't care about his points now, he just needs to learn how to be successful on the ice. Exactly the same journey as Kakko. The points will eventually come, they're way too talented not to.Kreider and Zib played great.
But we got huge contributions from a bunch of the kids. Igor, Miller, Laf played key roles. Jones, Lundkvist and Gauthier all had good games.
I love that Laf was given shifts at the end of the game and even some PK time. He deserved it. He played a complete game even if he didn't end up on the scoresheet. He is gaining GG's trust which should lead to more TOI. He's playing a reliable game and he's finally moving his legs every shift and in fact being one of the most impactful forwards on his line in all zones. Good stuff. Hope he can keep it up.
I think it's great for them because this will make them more complete players in the end run.
