I don't think it's too much of a stretch, but I've been singing his praises for a while. It'd be a downgrade next season for sure, maybe not so much in two seasons. He was serviceable as our 1C last year when Backstrom was out, and he's much improved this season. MP's massively underrated. He has great awareness on both ends of the rink, is very strong for his size, great hands, pretty decent shot, and rarely turns the puck over. I really like his game.

Also, liking this PK. They're more fluid in their movements as a group, and more aggressive. The pressure is forcing Tampa into mistakes.
