Defensive forward who isn't extremely old, some term, under $1 million AAV, I like it.

If he falls off a cliff and is unplayable, easy to move or bury.

Sabres fan, Gus has always been a guy I’ve supported. I think in the right system he can be a really strong bottom six guy. He has good straight line speed, doesn’t take bad penalties, will finish a check (although not a banger by any means)

If you want 10-10 from your fourth line guy with good defense, he is as solid as it gets. I think he could have made a bit more if he was going to a bad team, but Tampa probably offered term so he took a bit less.

Girgensons - Glendening - Eyssimont is a pretty good 4th line. Not sure how that really translates into production but it has potential to wear down the opponent. Would like a 3rd liner with size and hands now that can score. 2RW is going to be a hole regardless, more than likely.

Yeah I am just kind of surprised he got 3 years? Seems like the prime 1 year candidate. I have nothing against this signing. Most nights I watched him, he was giving 110% out there.
