Haha no, I tried to crack wise but the guy driving doesn't like the phone near the mirror. So had to keep it short.
He wasn’t getting the bounces all night. You could tell he was irritated after a couple missed pass receptions in the 3rd and then the post. He lost his cool at the end and then threw the temper tantrum.

I sat 2 rows in front of the Devils executive suite that night. Watching them get the hell out of there right after that goal went in (didn't even wait for the review), and then turning around and watching Marty flip a literal shit was.... *chefs kiss*

Yep. He's a "sneaky dirty" player too, which helps in the playoffs when whistles are swallowed. I have no doubt that he tried to lay out Aho and then act like it was some accident. All part of the act, but like you said, it was a cumulation of frustration.

Just a random anecdote to tell you all how far another great season like this does for growing the fan base:
My dad regularly drives the 2 hours up from South Carolina to see the Canes now. He barely used to know what icing is but Ive drug him to enough hockey games, that hes like a Canes fan. Fkn weird.
Meanwhile, one of his best friends friends from Burlington is buying season tickets and driving that far for every game.
There was a huge trench to rebuild after 2009 but we’re getting back!
