We've been completely pinned for a lot of the time in the 3rd period since that last Carolina game.

It even happens against the superstar Ducks, Sharks, Kraken (maybe not so much that game) and Rangers.

Starting the 3rd on the kill for 4 minutes while TB can do what they want, and having the refs blocking their attempts at plays has to be demoralizing.

Game is still tied, they have to nut up…the team and the arena are both dead now

It just feels too much like the wheels are about to fall off. It's felt like that in the 3rd period all the time recently.

Even against the Rangers, though we managed to escape that 3rd period.

First stretch of games Allen played before that? Yes.

I knew you would say that about Allen but I honestly disagree. He has only played 4 games in January and December. Team got shutout twice and in CBJ game they only scored after 57 minutes. Quite literally no goal support.

The Carolina game I guess you can blame him, he let in 3 after we went up in the 3rd but I feel like almost all of his games he makes timely saves until he doesnt. Then if your team doesnt score for 2 periods and he keeps them in the game and lets a stinker in the 3rd it looks worse than it is imo.
