So why did we skip being able to trade draft picks prior to the draft, i think that is a big part of peoples offseason trades.

Because I think it is a waste of time. If you don't have money to sign guys, prioritize during re-sign.

Look guys, there hasnt been pre-draft trades the past two seasons. There won't be, so manage your team with that in mind. Also if I get another person asking me to not sim so they can set their draft priority, I will continue to sim. Draft priority is up at the end of the season, not reason to wait til last minute to do it.

We have had pre draft trades in the past, and i think it was everyones understanding that the only reason we havent in the past 2 seasons was from errors in simming.

Well GG EA

Perry wins MVP, Art Ross goes down 2
Getzlaf 100 point season goes down 3
Silverberg (age 27) scores 40 goes down 1
Theodore doent grow a 2nd straight year nor does his Partner

But its ok because Coliacivo with his unreal numbers for his age last year stays at the same 79 he was..

Ugh, not good if we've simmed. Cue star players hitting FA all over again because GMs had no clue of the early advance and didn't have the chance to shed salary through trades. Skipping pre-draft last year was a mistake, doing so this year was unnecessary.

Don't spew out this crap about star players hitting F/A. Don't sign the players that are not necessary to return. When did star players even hit F/A?

It's over guys, it is simmed. Please send all your complaints straight to my inbox.

I think :canes might be a little upset after giving Jeremy Roy to me, he jumped from 83-88 overall, hes like 21 y/o 4 yellow. He now has pretty much 99 for skating, pretty good shot, good d aware and 98 body checking lol.

By stars I mean a guy like Maatta slipping to FA because LA had no clue what was going on. Anyways, as you say, it's done.

Would someone be kind enough to pm my draft choices/main players progression? Won't be around for a while still

Berglund 85 > 86 (definitely deserved the upgrade)
Purtill 78 > 83 (OMG, he's 21, 3.5* Yellow. Such a beast)

If anyone wants Remi Elie (75 OVR, 3.5r, 23 years old), Travis Sanheim (74 OVR, 3.5y, 22 years old) or Jordan Subban (76 OVR, 3.5y, 23 years old), all three can be had for just a 4th rounder. If you want just one, the price would be a sixth. PM me if you're interested.

Just an FYI, :sabres gm will not be around until sunday. Also, the deal he and I had was made in the interest of freeing cap space for him as he has >25Mil in space with McDavid (91) Reinhart (90) and a few mid 80s 4yellow prospects all needing contracts. I propose he be permitted to qualify one player (to save $ this season) and no team be allowed to offer sheet him. A quasi-franchise tag if you will.
