Nvidia is near back. Thought I would never see it back. Around $120 last fall, Almost $277. Can almost get my money back. Should I sell?

Hard to say. They invest a lot in AI and their game streaming service and are kind of neglecting the consumer market with those insane price. They are out of pretty much every mobile or console devices because of their greed. They got their Tegra chip in the Switch but that's about it and i would not be surprised to see Nintendo switch to AMD in the upcoming years as it would make porting games to the Switch 2 or 3 easier since AMD apu are in the XBox, PS and Steam Deck. If Intel can fix their drivers the competition will become fierce in the consumer market as Intel got a lot more ressource than AMD and are already further in AI developement. nVidia puts a lot of faith in AI and streaming. Is it the right call hard to say? It is my opinion that leaving all the console market outside of the Switch to AMD is not a wise decision.

I can make 2.28% if I sell now. But a lot better than 50% loss last October

I only had 30 shares but I was up a good bit so I trimmed 5 shares last week or so. Might trim another 5 more soon though.

If you like to gamble, NLST should have hopefully some very interesting news any day now as their trial vs Samsung should be wrapping up and people that are there are saying Netlist is kicking their ass so unless they paid the judge or jury off, a win sets up the much bigger pending trial vs Google.

No, I've had enough of the gambling. Market so unstable. I got sell order tomorrow, cash is going in a GIC.

The stock thread ain't what it used to be. C'mon folks, the bear market is when you buy! Anybody in Palantir?

Bear market headed for recession.

Carl Icahn thought so, too. Ended up losing $9 billion shorting the market.

I'm not going to bother trying to time the market. Just gonna buy quality companies when they're at good prices.

Many steering clear of stocks. Some fear China invade Taiwan also

Could happen. But after seeing Russia's struggles in Ukraine they may have second thoughts.

Bought a small position on Truist. 9th biggest bank getting treated like a regional bank. Seems like a good value.

Can't see China not going into Taiwan. China has so many problems. Taiwan semiconductors sitting right there. They one of best and largest chip market in world. It's going AI. They So much more efficient.

It's too much there, China going in.

Yep - I hope they finally have something to show for all the hot air - I hate Alex Karp.

I personally like him. He's eccentric without all the annoying trolling/tinfoil-hat crap like Elon.

He's useless. All show.

Disagreed. He was one of the founders of the company.

And actually he's the opposite of 'all show'. In practically every interview talks philosophy and geopolitics. Doesn't really go out of his way to sell the product.

Elon is all substance, even if you disagree with the coating.

I own some TSLA but I think Elon is overrated. He's proposed so many dumb ideas over the years (e.g. the Loop).

It's a bit ridiculous to go after a person with this level of achievement for the few bad ideas he had. The loop isn't even the end result of that tunnel vision, it's a prototype.

Karp: Talking about philosophy or geopolitics is the show, trying to make his company look geopolitically relevant. Fugazzy.

Elon has a world-class team built around him at Tesla. They are the reason I'm invested, not him.

So what is the end result for the loop?

Tell Ukraine that Palantir is irrelevant:

Companies are raving about their partnerships with Palantir:
