Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll take a look at this tonight.
Only seen a bit of his stuff but I hear it’s greatAny Tim Robinson fans watch Friendship yet?
klatu verata (cough..nmmphbomcmpffff)Aw man
Army of Darkness rocks dude lol
It seems like this comes up every year or two and I suggest the same films with the same comments. Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll take a look at this tonight.
Hey yes , I watched it recently but it was also my first time watching , it aged well because the art style is very unique , I also had to watch alot of anime before getting around to it because it's a little bit niche of a seriesDid you watch it semi-recently? I've been wondering how well it aged. I'm planning to re-watch it at some point, but I'm stuck in backlog hell for now.

I liked the stuff I seen. I mean to watch more of whatever it’s called. Think you should leave or whatever. Detroiters from the little I watched was funny too. I just don’t watch a LOT of things. Not anymoreIt's a slow burn but the crescendo at the end is fantastic. Really a bunch of weird characters and weird universe, so you have to like his stuff.
pedro pascal sucks, I agreelooks horrific, and the female silver surfer is from the wrong era FFS. Also why are they casting this lame actor in every second lead role?
I hate him, he even sucked in Narcos where he was introduced to the worldpedro pascal sucks, I agree
Pretty awesome in GOT though.I hate him, he even sucked in Narcos where he was introduced to the world
That's the one role I liked him inPretty awesome in GOT though.
I hated Open Water personally. This movie is soo old that i remember renting it on dvd. The production value was so bad that after 10 minutes i actually stopped the movie to check if someone had not replaced the dvd with a porn movie cause the production value was about on par with a porn movie. Stopped the movie halfway thru it.Open Water stays with you long after you've watched it. Kind of Castaway meets Jaws...
That along with The Reef are probably the two best shark films out there after the grand daddy. They are similar to each other but Open Water is more raw whereas The Reef is more thrill based. Either way, great films. I would watch Open Water first.
Bubba HoTep is one of the most ridiculous movies ever made and absolutely everyone should watch it. Bruce Campbell is amazing - Army of Darkness is another hilarious one people should see but that one's a horror/comedy. Lots of over the top gore for comedic effect and it's so slapsticky... just an absolute riot.
Pretty awesome in GOT though.
To each their own and I get that it’s not for everyone. Not for nothing but the actors were in there with real sharks.I hated Open Water personally. A black guy? Am I missing something there?Big Fish is a good suggestion as a feel good movie. Anyone who has not seen The Intouchables must see it. Probably the best recent movie nobody has seen and it's a feel good movie too. There's a black guy in the movie though so it's not for everyone.

That series went to total shit after season 4 anyways, is that when they got new writers? Oh look, all that build up for the White Walkers only to be done with in 5 seconds, by a little girl and her cute knife. Sniveling John Snow, the Queen of Dragons plot ... now you got me all upset again
It really irks me when people say that only the last season/ending were bad. Like you said, about 3-4 seasons in the cracks were starting to show quite visibly. Not having any more of Martin's original material to source every minute detail from was the beginning of the end. Season 1 might be some of the best TV ever done, though.

Man I rewatched Napoleon Dynamite a few years ago thinking it wouldn’t hold up and yet it was still great.Btw, if we’re talking about upbeat movies and laughs, we shouldn’t forget Office Space or Napoleon Dynamite.
