That actor will forever be etched in my mind as Vlad Harkkonen's mentat, Piter De Vries.
I had seen the cover on netflix or prime and wondered if it was any good. I rarely watch horror anymore except to please the wife.

On the back of this comment, I watched Hellraiser last night for the first time I’m afraid to admit. Not a huge horror fan.
I watched it because dude who played Garak in Deep Space Nine is the lead lol. Also because a friend of mine was gushing about Barker. I want to read his books now. It also always seemed cool to me. I just don’t watch a ton of stuff now anyways.
But man what a good one. The two leads are really good. Such a cool idea. It’s funny that Pinhead is barely in it. The star is those vintage 80s makeup/practical effects. Just never not impressive. Genuinely creepy and strange. Definitely want to watch the 2nd one though apparently it’s different.
And aside from Garak (one of the best tv characters ever imo) Andrew Robinson also plays the Scorpio Killer in the first Dirty Harry movie which is just one of the finest movie villains of all time. Just a brilliant actor.
But yeah I’m sure I don’t have to tell people that it’s one of the better horror movies out there. A classic for a reason
